  1. I dont know the GC spring rates, but I had "heard" they were a bit softer than the Eibach Pro kit (GC springs are made by eibach).
  2. Delete some of Viagra emails first, that should half the size
  3. Some very unique spring rates there for coilovers. Yours rears are actually about the same as stock spring rates, while your fronts are 3x harder than stock. Stock spring rates are Front 2.8kg/mm, Rear 2.4kg/mm (they vary +/- 0.2 depending on region) Something softer like Eibach springs for stock shocks use a spring rate in the region of 3-4kg/mm The most popular coilovers spring rate setup is a 8kg front, 6kg rear.
  4. Cheap poor quality filters. The Apexi filters wont fit that intake. You wont get any benefits of running Twin filters with your mods.
  5. in a PST file (use the windows search to find a .pst extension file). There is an import export tool under the file menu too.
  6. The Road tax increases are nothing though in comparison to the current fuel price increases though. 6 months ago there was uproar about it hitting £1 per litre. Its now £1.23p per litre at my local garage for unleaded, and it seems to rise 1p every week or so. Thats an increase of £400 a year on my fairly economical daily driver in the last 6 months alone. !
  7. as far as Im aware its on Manufactured date, rather than registered date.
  8. Yes. Its the other way around that wont work.
  9. :rofl::rofl: pmsl. Shame.
  10. Not seen that before. Interesting how they completely missed the Z32 out...probably becuase it went against the point he was making how each one got worse.
  11. There are a few threads on here with suggested Profec B settings. Start with them and adjust from there if you need to. Every car is different but those Turbo's wont make much difference to the settings. Search for "profec settings"
  12. D2/Ksport Brakes - good. D2/Ksport Coilovers - not so good.
  13. D2=K-sport (quite a few threads about the ksport brakes on here)
  14. Hope not, it will be the final nail in the coffin for the 300zx otherwise imo
  15. For a decent set of Coilovers for the road take a look at the SPL or Powertrix coilovers. Better spec and build than tein and well priced. Most people opt for an uprated dampner and lowering spring setup for the road though, such as KYB AGX and Eibach.
  16. The cheap £25 items in your first link are not coilovers. They are just cheap taiwanese manufactures springs with an adjustable collar that fit onto a stock shock. A coilover is a fully intergrated dampner and Spring in one with Adjustable damping and ride height. Tein's are actually very cheap in comparison to other Coilovers. The Teins on ebay in your 2nd link are not coilovers. They are seperate Tein Dampners with Tein springs. They have no adjustablity, but are a decent enough upgrade over stock. In fact I would say the front 2 are Tein dampners, but the rears are stock dampners. Looks like they have done a fair few miles though.
  17. Im guessing you have sold the rear brakes and handbrake mechanism/backplates to a 200sx owner ? In which case you need to remove the hub from the subframe (17mm and 19mm nuts and bolts on each arm) . Undo the Large driveshaft nut...knock the driveshaft off. Your then with the complete hub carrier and rear brakes (caliper, discs, handbrake mechanism/backplate). You can either send them that, or you can also remove the hub carrier as well - undo the 4x17mm nuts on the back and the 24mm nut. Pull off the hub carrier and send them whats rest.
  18. I dont mind the Z33.....but to me its a car I would buy for the Wife while I kept the Z32 for myself. I've been in a few and Paul@SWZ has worked on a few at the garage as well. They definatly have a mroe modern feel to them...but also a cheaper feel to them to sadly. Im sure they would be easier to live with everyday, like any modern car if that's what you want and at least its part of the Z lineup instead of some modern rep-mobile.
  19. They are the same for Jap and UK in that respect. You can earth the xenon kit so it stays on when you use High beam, and there is another method using a relay.
  20. New - For a TT , about £300 delivered from the states, or about £400 for a similar flywheel within the UK. That one on ebay was a right bargain. The seller lost out there big time. I was offered a 2nd hand one for £250 a while back which I would have gone for If I had'nt already just got a new one.
  21. The SPL site instructions are very good although complex, but for a quick try just set them mid way and adjust harder and softer from there to your preference.
  22. Yes, the damping adjustment makes a night and day difference. Its never going to be air cushion soft, but it will be very noticable. Apart from having to remove the boot trim *, it only takes a second to wind the adjuster in on top of the shock. * best solution is to make a cut out in the boot trim so you dont have to remove it each time.
  23. Been trying to buy a set of these that are currently on another 300zx but looks like it aint happening now :( Very nice lightweight multispoke splitrim
