  1. They are Impul's, I got them Used, importing them new from Japan probably would'nt be worth it. The skirts I really want is the kaminari's , which powertrix do a copy of at a very reasonable price.
  2. Murt, I fitted a 3 DIN panel in mine a few years back, it was just a universal one.
  3. Been collecting a few parts for the Slicktop over the past couple of months. Thought I'd snap a piccie before they get fitted as wont see half of them once their on. 99spec Front bumper Impul sideskirts and door fillers. Stainless steel downpipe and decat pipes 19row Oil Cooler Short Shifter Retrimmed gearknob with blue stitching Polyurethane Steering rack bushes (2) Polyurethane Subframe bushes (4) Polyurethane rear link arm bushes (18) Solid Steering rack bushing (not in pic..temporarily misplaced) Lightweight one piece propshaft Lightweight Flywheel RPS Street Clutch Greddy water temp sender Nismo Rear gearbox mount Stainless steel braided fuel line kit I've fitted a lot of other parts already, but these are the remaining parts that I've been collecting up to get it on the road. Only a few minor pieces to get now really. The Wife is'nt too happy about them taking up space in the spare room though.. ...dont know why she's complaining....she's lucky I kept the new gearbox, rear Subframe and diff in the garage ! :slap: I should be getting my retrimmed leather Interior panels back from the trimmers next week, and getting the subframe shotplasted and powercoated before fitting. I then need to persuade Paul@swz to weld up my rollcage for me. Then its off to the bodyshop to get the new exterior parts painted. MoT...and then I might actually be able todrive it for the first time ever ! :duffer: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper: ...and then I'll need to start saving and spending again on Brakes, Suspension, wheels and everything else I have planned
  4. Looking pretty sexy there jimmy
  5. All same, except the convertible.
  6. no way, Zogg's is nice...this is an abomination.
  7. Company car si, or buying yourself ?
  8. hmm....Im washing my hair in early august
  9. Cool, nice one murt
  10. Glad your ok !!
  11. Severaly beaten with the ugly stick Nice wheels though.
  12. I'll probably be up for this
  13. Lots of talk about these on the US forums. Mostly very positive. No actual tests / results yet.
  14. no need to heat. Just unbolt them all. Remove centre section first (its not sealed on), then gently work the rear lights, bit by bit to pull them out. Once they start pulling away you can use a flatblade screwdriver to seperate some of the tar/glue stuff.
  15. Performance Calculator : http://www.letstorquebhp.com/calculator.asp This is surprisingly accurate in most circumstances. THere is also a great piece of downloadable software called "cartest" which allows you to alter all sorts of parameters (weight, power, gearing, wheels ...etc) and see how it affects performance...all based on tested mathematical calculations.
  16. well....tested on my previous 2+2 TT Manual, when running 1 bar boost I was achieving with Datascan : 0-60 : 4.8secs (I recorded a 5.7 on stock boost) 0-100 : 11.97 secs (I recorded a 14.1 on stock boost)
  17. You;ll want the upper adjustable camber arms too to go with them.
  18. Wrong connector.
  19. TPS wont measure that high. You should be putting the multimeter on the middle pin of the grey connector to the TPS, not the black connector that is directly on the TPS.
  20. I like the VAG lineup. Had a few as company cars in the past too - Passat 1.8T, A4 1.8SE, A3 1.6sport and nearly bought a A4 2.6Q before I opted for my first 300zx instead. The Seat range is the "stylish" versions :) (VW being the everyday family version, skoda being the "value" range and Audi being the classy range).
  21. It wont be on its limits. If dont mind the extra cost then can go Max though, but bear in mind it is a heavier clutch to use.
  22. Its designed for a modified TT with stock turbos, it will take more power than you can get out of stock turbo's. I have a RPS Street to go on mine btw ! (big thanks to Old zed :bow:)
  23. Cool, I never realised that. I know the others are all the same. Might have to look into them a bit more, they seem to be cheaper then the more popular GTR upgrade. What did you do about caliper brackets ?
  24. There is a whole range of Big brake upgrades out there from AP Racing, Rotora, Stoptech, Ksport/D2, Willwood ..etc typically from £1000-£3000 Im guessing your looking to do a bit of a custom fitment though ?, with some Larger calipers from another vehicle that you want to have a custom manufactured bracket for fitment. When choosing a caliper there are other considerations too, one of the most important being offest. If the offset is all wrong then the alignment between caliper, disc, hub..and getting them to fit between wheels could be a big issue. I believe some people (overseas) have had quite some success with various Porsche Brembo calipers. (996 I believe) Those Evo/R33 Brembo calipers are far from the biggest calipers to fit, in fact they would be the smallest caliper upgrade available ! The 350z/Impreza/Evo/GTR's all share the same Brembo calipers, but the Evo and Impreza would need custom brackets, whereas the GTR and 350z are pretty much straight bolt ons.
