  1. You want Skyline GTR discs. Fitment & offset will be correct. 350z discs use a different offset
  2. Your Paypal is working fine for me Paul, as I just bought something with it
  3. Cool, who is yours with ? as Im looking into Traders policies myself now
  4. Yep, but the difference between a Standard Fully comp policy and a Traders policy is that on a Standard policy you can only drive other cars if there is an Insurance policy for that car by the owner already...and only TPFT. Whereas a Traders policy allows you to drive any car, fully comp wether it be insured elsewhere or not.

why are you doing it on a week day ?
  9. anyone know if a 6 ton press is man enough to remove/fit suspension bushes or do I need to invest in something meatier ?
  10. 12.1 kg/mm and 7.2 kg/mm is very stiff, stiffer than other road spec coilovers and too stiff for the road. But yeh, they do offer custom spring rates. I have driven a SWB with that setup and it was unbearable IMO, the car is physically skipping and jumping all over the road and subsequently losing traction. They are a budget coilover, and while their Brakes are getting good reviews, from what I had read about there has been a lot of bad feedback on the Coilovers, and some Dealers have dropped them from their lineup becuase of the fault returns.
  11. What springs rates do yours have ? They are available in different spring rates but normally the K-sport/D2 range use much stiffer spring rates than Tein's and other coilovers !
  12. The fault can usually be traced to either a dodgy speed sensor on the gearbox or a Malfunctioning KPH>MPH convertor. THe ASCD is the Cruise control.
  13. TT Autoboxes are plentifull, I would fit a TT one rather than blowing a NA box.
  14. If your feeling it through your seat/floor , then its Drivetrain judder. If its a fault that has developed on its own then it will be either Sagging rear gearbox mount,. Propshaft centre bearing or worn Propshaft UJ's. if the drivetrain has recently been removed for any reason, then its probably that the propshaft has been incorrectly put back together - usually becuase of not aligning the two halfs of the prop together so its out of balance or putting the bearing carrier washers in the wrong place.
  15. Crazy money. Ford fans are right weirdo's ! LOL
  16. You could just unplug it in the boot. It has two plugs, one for power to the motor and one for the aerial. I doubt you'll get much reception with it down though. Some people have removed the aerial, had it smoohted over at a bodyshop and fitted an amplified internal aerial.
  17. btw - for comparison. Stock rev limiter is 6800rpm, and aftermarket chips raise it to 7200, but power has dropped off by then on stock turbos.
  18. stick to the 9k rev counter. You will not see 9k on your setup. You'll want solid lifters and cams that are setup to make power that high in the rev range. The turbos will fall off power before then.
  19. hmm..its got potential. Would have to sort out the vent adjuster holes on that side but its more discreet than having it on top of dash.
  20. Normally a speedo would be very innaccurate at those sort of speeds and your real speed would be as much as anything from 10-20 mph less than the speedo says.....BUT thats about right according to your RPM (far more accurate than speedo) !! ....6700rpm is just shy of 180mph for a Manual TT in 5th gear. nice one
  21. The 280/300 power level was what the 300zx came out with is that is what Nissan wanted for the performance figures it wanted to achieve for many reasons. The motor is effectively detuned to that level....plus most other Turbocharged jap cars of the era run higher boost out of the box to start with. The stock VG30DETT makes more power and torque than other 6cylinder turbocharged competitors of the 90's on the same boost levels. 100 bhp/litre is achievable on High revving variable valve timing 4-pots as a high peak power output. They dont have half the power they would otherwise have in their lower and mid rev range. Also, 100bhp per litre is much easier in a small engine, than it is in a larger engine. (much easier to get 200hp out of a 2.0 than it is to get 400hp out of a 4.0)
  22. Fantastic Race. Well done Hamilton
  23. Plenty of Z32's running much larger brakes than the EVO or GTR setup with stock BMC and Im pretty sure the 300zx has the largest Master cylinder of the lot. Not sure about deciding between the two, I doubt there is a huge difference in performance between them both...there are just as many EVO owners upgrading there brakes to bigger aftermarket ones as there are owners of other Brembo equiped cars (gtr, 350z..etc). If they end up costing anything towards to £1k figure IMO your better of looking at the K-sports, or a 2nd hand set of the more expensive big name brands (AP racing, Rotora, Stoptech..etc) if lucky enough to catch a set coming available (keep an eye on oversea clubs too).
  24. This one was technically 2nd hand....as the original owner had never fitted it, it was still in all its packaging  Brand new urethane is soooo much nicer than all the fibreglass ones I've handled
