  1. hi guys, today sold the car, finally. its been in the garage/off the road since i built it/re-shelled it since november! was nice when had the origonal, but when i wrote it off & took months of sorting problems & getting thro the MOT just lost intrest. thanks to Anthony D for all help, Legrath, and Jeff TT. really needed the forum! PS Baz i sold it for same price paid you (but cost me about 500 quid to re shell etc) ive moved onto the Supra if you dont know tho :)
  2. thanks mate, was just looking at them myself! i just need ones for the larger indicators, but i guess il just get new bulbs, whatever size as long as their similar, just so i know what size holders to get. 922s you say are similar yea? any other more popular ones easier to get?
  3. thanks baz, will look into also. they are double the size, both in length & width...
  4. thanks mate. (as always lol) you can see in this pic the 501 bulbs on the right, then the larger type next to them. are they called 501 bulbs aswel? ive got the bulbs, toyota want 40 quid for the holders tho!
  5. for the side repeaters on the wing, where can i get the holders from? they are the wedge type bulbs, dont really know what to call them, i also need a slightly larger size aswel as those ones. (they are for my Supra)
  6. thanks, do you need to remove the piston front the pump or not?
  7. its just ive tried 3 methods, and havent had luck. ive tried... 1) just blocking the Hicas take off up, without routing back to the resivour, with the piston still in. 2) tried another pump, removing the piston, then blocking off. 3) ive tried the same pump with the piston removed, routed to the resivour. if all of these 3 methods work, i can only asume that the 1st pump just died of natrual causes. (did have a leak, so suspect that) and the second pump i can only asume that was broke when got it, or removing the piston messed things up. im going to get a third pump now, which method of the above is going to be the best/safest. its costing me a lot of money to get the steering sorted :(
  8. which method, removing the piston method? or routing it back to the resivour method?
  9. thanks legrath, have you removed the piston inside the pump? or is there no need to? think iv either bougtht a broken pump, or messed up removing the piston but not routing the take-off back to the resivour
  10. lol just saw this, encase this thread gets digged up in the future, the answer is as follows: TT ECU - NA Loom - NA pump controller - TT Pump. :)
  11. thanks mate, will let you know, (is it an NA pump?) just want to know others that have defo got a TT Pump on a car with no Hicas, and what methods did they do when blocking off/or running a new pipe to the fluid resivour?
  12. think there are 2 cats on S14 mate, S13 only one,
  13. ok ive sorta havent bothered with the Z since ive got the Supra, but i had it out the garage today & realized its still one bad car! :) the car doesnt have the HICAS anymore. when i put the TT pump on initially, it worked fine, but then i had a leak, and ruined the pump. it was either the leak, or the fact that i didnt remove the piston thing in the side, which goes to the Hicas solenoid. anyway i got a replacement pump, and this time removed the piston thing for the HICAS. pump worked fine for 1 day, then went completly. ive tried routing the Hicas take-off back to the resivour, but still nothing. did i buy a broken pump? did i break the pump by not routing to the resivour first? really stuck in a rutt at the mo, as i cant get my hands on a NA pump, and not sure if wana get another TT pump, but plenty on here have the TT pump without Hicas???
  14. its having a new power steering pump onit as we speak. should be in the next week or so id imagine, providing the pump works etc!
  15. lol its a yes :) TRD bonnet, if i hadnt had 5 black cars i would have had black again lol
