  1. Same here.....occasional bit of fun with the kids on the Wii, but for proper gaming i hit the Xbox360. Addicted to GTA IV at the moment.
  2. probably not, my entire dashboard is already at the trimmers to be redone in the same stuff lol
  3. how about this instead - http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=112268
  4. I believe he is referring to its relevance in determining the true mileage of the car.
  5. the 101,198 will be part KM and Part Miles. It will be KM up until it was converted then it would of counted up in Miles. You need to find out what the mileage (or at least the date) of when it was converted to get an indication of exact mileage.
  6. That was on there a few weeks back....went to about £7k I believe
  7. LOL actually...anyone know the exact date the first Z32 was available for sale ?
  8. Yep, All pre 94 cars without spoiler have that panel and all cars after 94 when the spoiler changed.
  9. Yes, but you will need the Ring gear, Torque convertor and front half of prop as well. (not 100% sure about needing the front half of prop though. Last time I did it I changed the prop, but been told you can use original prop too....so not sure)
  10. no, its a diesel tanker that caught fire on the M4 this morning .........when there are all the talks and protests about tanker driver pay for high risk job..etc
  11. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/berkshire/7462794.stm
  12.
  13. Absolutely. I did a 500 mile round trip to get my first TT, and my slicktop was 850 miles and took 2 days
  14. yep :D ....although I've only given him a spare dashboard at the moment, as the door cards and rest of interior is the rare grey suede/alcantara, so i wanted to see how it looked before handing over the doors.
  15. Enery Suspension bushes for : Anti-Roll bars and droplink Steering rack Rear subframe Rear Differential Rear multilink hub carrier Nismo Gearbox mount Solid steering coupling bushing SPL brass bushings in the gear shifter Rose jointed Adjustable arms replace any remaining bushes
  16. In my Black TT it was probably my Carputer system with custom fabricated DIN panel : In my Slicktop I've sent my dashboard (the actual dash, not the lower panels) and centre console plastics of to get retrimmed in charcoal alcantara. Was going to get it flocked, but trimmer suggested the retrim. No pics yet though.
  17. ...and paul@swz is currently selling a Manual conversion kit on behalf of a customer for £500 ! (plus about £500 labour for fitting at a garage)
  18. Its not just about the perforamnce difference (which is very noticable) , it entirely changes the way the car feels. More of a sports car, than a tourer. More fun, especially when playing and none of that torque convertor slippage (which I cant stand)...and if you consider than a Manual is typically worth around £1k more than an Auto too and more desirable....and more reliable.
  19. Turbos and Cams are different. Stock TT auto power is around 15-20hp less than Manual TT. Have a look at Retro620i rides section for his spec though...as I "think" he is running about 400 at the fly...and although his is a manual now it was an Auto (auto engine and auto tubs).
  20. Just realised your auto.....you will struggle to hit 400 on stock turbos with an Auto engine.
  21. At the flywheel, it will be pretty close....but your at a high risk of detonation by running 15/16 psi on stock injectors and coolers.
  22. Knock sensor is located below the lower plenum at the back of the engine, inbetween the heads. The wire comes from the knock sensor up to a grey 2 pin plug at the back of the engine which will be near the firewall inline with the centre of the plenum. It only has 1 wire going to it from the knock sensor. It then joins the rest of the EFI loom to the ECU.
  23. PM John Dixon, if you want a JD chip. 13-14psi is what most people run on standard turbos and injectors. Perhaps yours is in Safety mode and/or boost leak ? Defiantly not running right anyhow - I drive a St202 Celica GT as daily driver, and while its quite sprightly (170'ish bhp) it would get absolutely killed in all situations by a standard 300zx TT.
  24. CAS = Crank angle sensor pic :
  25. The bellhousing wont bolt up to the RB25. They are the same transmission except for the bellhousing. You could swap over the Bellhousing and input shaft (slighly longer) but may as well just use the skyline gearbox instead.
