  1. and last I heard (although not from the horses mouth, so Jimmer will have to clarify) was that he is since having problems with them. Leaking I believe. The problems from Venom injectors is not related to ethanol based fuel. That is a problem with all pintle design injectors, the issues here are poor quality control.
  2. NA clutch is a lot lighter, less clamping force. TT clutch is a heavy bugger without assistance. I noticed paul dug out a Clutch servo for you the other day, not sure if its been posted yet
  3. Just in case the forum search did'nt provide the answers needed...these are generally regarded as junk. Poor flow matching, leaking and premature failure. Bottom line is that if you do buy them....get them flow tested and use Nissan genuine o-rings. No doubt some have been fine, but there is a definate quality control issues here....bear in mind that a failing injector can quickly kill an engine. Me personally, I would stick to either Nismo's or Deutchwerks.
  4. I would say there is no one single best looking example, especially not one that will be everyones favourite. In fact, there will be some that many will love, but others will hate. The monthly Competitions is a good indicator of popular choices.
  5. Search forum for "venom injectors"
  6. No, the NA is not assisted. The TT Clutch assistant gets is feed from the balance bar.
  7. you could do a shell change for alot less
  8. I see you have a widearch kit fitted. You need to have the arches modified, sounds like there is too much of a lip on the fibgreglass....or the original metal arches were not cutaway sufficiently...or your offsets are too aggressive for the kit. Most widearch owners are running 18's or 19's and have coilovers fitted which drop the car several inches.
  9. Replacement 2nd hand autobox is a risk. Obviously the cheapest option, but could end up costing as much as the other 2 when the 1st box fails..and your not going to get warranty on a 2nd hand box. Autobox rebuild and Manual conversion are going to cost about the same, so its down to preference really. You dont want a auto vs manual war so I wont comment further LOL and Im sure you know the advantages already....my vote would be the manual conversion everytime.
  10. The BB nudity seems to decrease each year......along with the viewing figures.
  11. or you could have sex in it ? A couple of hours of various positions and speeds should soon settle the suspension.
  12. btw - Powertrix sell Kaminari copies for a fair bit less. Unfortunatly shipping for skirts is big $$ whoever you buy from in the states :( Nowt wrong with fibreglass for skirts. I would never have a fibreglass front bumper though.
  13. LHD U.S model only I believe
  14. That fish looks hungry lol not 100% sure if they are Impuls or not....I have impul skirts for mine but I cant remember what they look like :slap: If not Impul then possibly Kaminari
  15. The copies have spot lights built into them , so that would appear to be a strosek original.
  16. I believe that technically only red is legal.....although they came with the standard blue/green version from Nissan and not heard of anyone getting in trouble for them
  17. Bit late, but Happy Birthday ! :duffer:
  18. All quoted manufacturer figures are at the flywheel. (about 230-240 @ wheels stock)
  19. Keep the skirts and bumper. Lose the Ironing board spoiler and lower it ;)
  20. I'd love to see a High power NA VG30 build in the UK. - Bigger displacement - Increase compression ratio - Headwork - Solid Lifters - Aggressive Cams - Bigger headers - Bigger injectors - Lightweight pulley/flyhweel/propshaft - Maybe ditch the plenum and go with individual throttle bodies A powerfull, responsive NA engine that revs towards 9k rpm :hyper: You'd really want to shove it in a Lightweight NA slicktop shell to make the most of it and have a Track screamer.
  21. was there a specific difference you wanted to know about, or a particular reason ?
  22. Look forward to the pics si. Go for stillen ARB's.... they come with all new Droplink and bushings that the Whiteline does'nt come with (and you will need new ones) , plus they are adjustable front and rear, whereas the Whitelines are either fixed or only adjustable at one end.
  23. VVT was there from the very start and was dropped in 1996. In the U.S the car is quoted at 300hp for Manual, and 280 for Auto. In Europe and Japan the car is quoted as 280bhp(276bhp actually) for the Manual and 263 for the Auto. Wether there is really a difference between the regions is anyones guess though ! Every car is different anyway.
  24. I believe a 92mm bore will give you a 3.2 engine, and I would'nt want to push the limits of the cylindar wall thickness beyond that. A stroker kit you get it up to a 3.4 but you talking £6-8K just for parts. are you looking into potential NA power increases ?
