  1. And now ready to collect tomorrow.... However I am a little concerned about the new coilovers! Jim installed them at the highest setting - but they are still very low when compared to my old Meister Rs. Speed humps could be a real issue!!!
  2. Whilst fitting the new track rod ends Jim spotted the steering rack bushed were toast - so he replaced these too.....
  3. New coilovers fitted - gearbox speed sensor fitted - cam belt changed......
  4. It was all going so well - albeit I knew there had been a slight misting of fluid on top of the NSF coilover strut..... And when Jim put the Zed on the ramps to sort the new track rods ends, speed sensor etc,. that coilover gave up....!! Luckily it happened whilst the car was still at Powerzed!! Jim recommended a set of HSD coilovers from Driftworks - I ordered them on Tuesday and they arrived yesterday, ready for him to fit. It might be there a few more days than anticipated, but it will be coming back much better than before; in more ways than I originally expected😄
  5. Some more pictures from Jim - the new loom is in place and the plenum is back on......
  6. Hello and welcome to the club - and that is a very nice looking Zed you have there!!
  7. Hi and welcome to the club Jerry!
  8. I remember you saying so at Beaulieu a few years back - and Jim mentioned yours, so my mind was made up!!
  9. I have had the odd running issue with my Zed the last couple of months - an intermittent miss-fire when cold, sticky throttle after a long fast run, and the speed sensor failed again last week after trying Jeff's old epoxy resin fix a while back..... ....So I did what we advise everyone else to do and called Jimmer. Jim recommended the full engine loom replacement, new ethanol friendly injectors, ERG delete, new rocker cover gaskets and a plenum tart-up with new bolts etc., to improve the engine bay appearance! So I dropped the car at Powerzed on Monday morning and Jim sent me the first progress pictures today! And while it's there he'll be fitting a few other new parts, including the brand new OEM speed sensor I got from Japan. More pics to follow no doubt😉
  10. Good day all, As you know, we have been exhibiting at the NEC classic motor show every year since 2014 (covid aside) - and once again, we have been fortunate to get offered a club stand this year. The show takes place Friday November 13th to Sunday November 15th inclusive - so your car would have to be on the stand from Thursday 12th until the show closes around 5pm Sunday evening. Details of the show are here Classic Motor Show | The UK's Premier Classic Motor Event Our stand is in hall 5, number 5-720 - approx. 8 x 7m, large enough for three cars. So, I'm looking for volunteers - three cars please - plus your good selves to man the stand for the duration.... This is a great event; just ask anyone who has exhibited in the past! Register your interest here or drop me a PM if you'd like any further info. Thanks in advance🙂

  13. I have this too - I think I got mine from Luke a few years ago, when I fitted a Mishimoto rad.
  14. Interesting question Charlie...! In all honesty, these cars are getting more rare by the day, so the chances of anywhere in the country having a 300zx on their hire fleet are pretty slim.
