any update? I'd like to know what we have in prep so i know what i need to bring down with me if anything.

Just wondering what we have in prep for the club stand this year ? I'm driving down on the 11th with my Truck and zed on a Trailer and thought it would be good to start planning. Do we have things like carpets or barrier available, who has the flags and banners ?

I confidently took my zed round the block a few times today for the first time in over 8 years. I even gave it a bit of boost and OMG - that was impressive. Still a bit away from an MOT as i need to get the zed back up on stands and put all the engine covers on. Aswell as prep work like get the reverse and fog lights working again.

Had to fix some slack belts on the zed today after some work downtime. After the coolant leak last week the alternator belts started squealing like pig. But now all fixed and start-up is getting a lot smoother, just another session needed for tuning and we should be good.

Yeh, now sorted. Had to drain the coolant down past the pipe, pulle the pipe off, clean the RTV off and apply new stuff then find a spare clip. Its all bolted back together but waiting for the RTV to dry out before i fill it up again and test for leaks.

Hotel now booked. Picking up a trailer tomorrow and zed is 90% prepped for the show already.

So engine tune session today and managed to get the engine purring if not with a few issues along the way. First issue was we found a vac pipe leak after tracing the ecu vac sensor pipe to a Y splitter that had its own split. next we found the CAN wide bands didnt come online and that was again just a loose cable. Lastly was a much bigger but fixable issue and after all the time splitting and rebuilding this engine i couldn't believe i done. Can anyone spot the rookie mistake that i freely admit to doing which led to having to stop the session :

Sure am, Been a long time coming and fingers crossed for tomorrow morning. Not really had it up to temp as such as wanted to get it checked over professionaly first with someone that knows what's needing done.

Fueling issue now sorted, Gave the battery a good 2 days of charge, that and i found that the injector sub loom wasn't fully connected. The zed is booked in tomorrow to do a remote mapping session to ensure everything looks good before taking her up on a trailer to get a direct hub connected map done.
