Newbies - let yourselves be known

Hiya, i'm new around here and joined for information and also advice into how i should go about dealing with my Z. I bought this Z a few months back with a relatively unknown history, the only real info i had was that the engine was rebuilt in the last 5 years or so, has atleast a few minor mods (radiator, BOV, potentially turbo stuff?) and that the car ran decently well. i've come to self diagnose that my knock sensor is knackered, my speed sensor either has a bad ground, worn out or needs a solder fix in the dash(0-5mph wiggle upon being stationary occasionally), and due to the 5~ years since an engine rebuild i think the timing belt + tensioners require doing just f…

Hey new member! I came across this page and found a lot of useful info that’s been helping me with my NA-TT build. I’m currently making a parts list and usually get most of my parts from Z1, CZP, or Facebook Marketplace when I find a good deal. I live in Queens, NYC. I’ve repainted my car twice, still the same color because I’m picky, and I’ve also done custom projector headlights twice. I’m riding on coilovers with the 99 JDM nose 2+2. Hi I’m looking for a vacuum pipe diagram for 300zx twin turbo please we removed the manifold and my tech didn’t mark the pipes it now won’t run correctly and he’s not sure the pipes are in the correct place We also have no boost gauge working on the instrument cluster thanks in advance Ben

Need to make a big decision. I own a 1994 twin turbo, black in color, garage kept only has 88,000 miles. No rust anywhere in excellent condition except the seats need to be redone. But I was hit last month on the driver's door and their insurance company wants to total it out and only give me $13,000 for the car and I dont know what I should do?

First of all thanks to Lee for letting me join. After years on the FB groups for some reason I missed the old school Forum chats and help suggestions. Some of you already know me...bought my Z32 back in 2007 currently has 82000 kms, Green cobalt, TT, LHD, manual. Car barely being used except some nice weekend ride. Week ago had the entire belt kit distribution changed to brand new. So far so good and eventhough through the years I was tempted to sell it something always made me pull back and seeing how hard it is nowdays to get a sample stunning low mileage I surely do not regret my decision. Hi Im an Englishman living in Japan. Just bought a year 2000 300ZX with 130000kms. Its a 2+2 NA manual. Mechanically it seems very good but the body work and trim need tidying up. I have a youtube channel 'Rider Japan' I will be making some videos about the car and show some driving in Japan if your interested. Only had the car a few days but already really enjoying owning it!

My dad used to own a 1991 300zx tt it was gunmetal grey but then changed to white in 2007 the reg was J740jnp and it was stolen in 2011 does anyone know where it went or if anyone knows anyone that owns it or if anyone has pictures of it?

I had one 20 years ago and still think they have a timeless look to them... ultimately i love 90s/2000s Jap cars and have been in and around the Honda scene for a long time now, starting with Dc2s and then onto S2000z (which im currently still enjoying thuroughly). Hi, my name is Chris and I am (I hope) about to become a 300ZX... or a Fairlady Z as I still prefer to think of them. I was first introduced to the car during my first ever trip to Japan back in 1989. I don't think I have any photographs of the car from that trip - but I do from my next trip the following year, when the family I was staying with took me to a showroom so that I could not only look at one, but also sit in one (photos attached). Hey guys, it has been a while. Life has been a constant distraction but it's about time I popped back in to say hi. My car still lives (and I do drive it nowadays) and is not that broken these days! Jimmer did some bits and pieces last year to bring it together and it's nearly that time for MOT again so a few things to sort, but overall doing pretty well. Hi everyone, I was a member on here many years ago, was known for my detailing and valeting back then, and am trying to locate my favourite old Z (I've had five so far). It was a green slicktop NA manual, registration number N434 OGC. I foolishly passed up on the opportunity to buy it back, albeit in a very sorry state, a few years ago and I was led to believe it was broken up for parts not long after.
