  1. Hi all im new to the forum but not to Z’s this will be my second, first was an immaculate white 2+2 JDM import however number 2 is far from immaculate. Needs extensive rear sill and rear pocket repairs, but, should be able to save her from the crusher! manual, Twin turbo & a UK car

  2. Started by Boof,

New owner here recently bought a 300zx TT manual. It's quite a rough project but looking forward to it, Will be asking a few questions in next few months as I begin making a to do list.

  3. Started by Chrisbasildon,

Happy easter everybody, hope you're all well. After 3 years in climate controlled storage the Z is back in her new home at my new house. Currently replacing all the timing belt components and doing a full service, MOT being done in the week. So I will be out and about when the sun finally makes its appearance. Hope to start attending shows and meets again and catch up with the Z scene.

Thanks for accepting me into the group. I'm from Ireland 🇮🇪. Bought my 300zx 2 years ago as a "barn find". It was like Fred Flinstones car with rust. 2 years of a restoration and I'm very nearly finished with it. It's a 1991 TT Manual with 80k miles. I'd love to upload a photo but I'm not seeing an option 😂 I have a lot of questions as I'm having some teething issues with the engine (post to follow) Thanks guys

Hi folks My name is Kai from Ayr in Ayrshire, I’ve been involved in the JDM car scene for a long time after owning lots of different cars I’ve recently purchased a very nice 1997 JDM TT manual at auction in Japan. I will pick the car up from Newcastle dock start of December, so looking forward to it as I have never had one before. Cheers Kai

  9. Started by scimitar,

I've had my ZX for approaching 14 years and been a member of this Club for a substantial part of that time but never posted. Without any technical expertise to impart I've struggled to think how I can make a positive contribution - until now, when I can publicly express my thanks to Luke at Z Centre and Frank at FG Bodyshop, both in Nottingham, for the wonderful job they've done with replacing the original boot spoiler with one of Luke's replica OEM jobs. And also to Jimmer at PowerZed for his recommendation. I realise a photo is required but it's pouring down here in N.Wales and she doesn't come out in the wet! So, just a genuine THANK YOU!

Hi all. thought I should put myself forward and introduce to you all since I’ve been lurking on the forum. had a 300zx since 2016. Been garaged most of the time and had some occasional use but have made more significant mods in the recent year or two just gone. was previously my dads car and I liked it from when I was a kid so I was glad to get the car when I was old enough. it’s a converted manual NA owned only within the family since its import from Japan. Super clean for the most part although I’ve decided to stray from original. im really looking forward to getting involved with some meets and shows since ive missed how great it is to be around ot…

  11. Hello everyone, let me start off by saying thank you for accepting me into this group. I'm Azzy, 30 years old and ive been building/restoring Japanese cars since the age of 10 years old. Was never really a silvia or skyline fan but for those that know me... know that i love complex and complicated cars! Always loved the look of a 300zx but only the SWB model (sorry lwb owners). But yes I went to a friends lock-up filled with various skylines and silvias 'Drift missiles' but in the corner of my eye this got my attention.... Its a SWB slicktop! wow! i never really liked the T-Bar, so i bought it with a huge job ahead of me... To those t…

  12. Started by Phil D,

Good morning all, I previously owned (2003-2008) a Black 92 GCZ32 (D15SUM) which I sold back in 2012. I was an active forum and meet member "back in the day" (I remember Andy Duff/Duffman, AndyP, MikeGroves, MAC, Jeff @ Zedworld and Silvia Engineering in Maldon/Whitham) but life got in the way! Am now looking at getting back into a long held ambition of a late model TT (Auto, as I am a LAZY, LAZY man!). I will setup another thread, as I have found something that screams "RUN AWAY!" but can't shake the feeling I need to investigate! Thanks for listening/reading! Phil

  13. Started by CaramelKaiteki,

Hey! I just received my Z32 today! 😄 It was imported from the US (Florida, Miami) to a local company here in the Netherlands, who had it for sale on Facebook Marketplace, and as I've been wanting a project-car to restore as best I can, I'm super excited to now own one. It is in definite project-state, meaning it has rust spots, missing interior pieces, wiring that needs sorting and of course eventually a full repaint. Tomorrow I'll receive a new battery in the mail so I can finally start seeing what's what with starting it and all the electronics. Really hope I can restore it to its former beauty, as the previous owner…

Howdo all! My name is Pam 🙋‍♀️ Technically I'm new to 300zx ownership, but the car I've got now is inherited from my dad, so I know where it's been the last few year 😆 It's been off the road for at least a couple of years, so dipping toe into the muddy water of where to start to get back to road legal etc 😊 So a question I suppose, I'm in North Shropshire, does anyone have any recommendations for garages that you know and/or trust for your Z's nearby? I know the basics, but I'm likely going to get stuck on what I'm doing sooner rather than later 😆🤦‍♀️

  16. Started by Scubie,

Hi All, well after many many years away and two ZX's left to sit and dare I say one to rot. I've Finally got my head into gear to do something about them. I did briefly pop back a couple of years ago but was kicked hard with covid, Now well on the mend and need to re live some of my enjoyment of the 300ZXTT. surprising what a wake up call with the Grim man can do for you. So hopefully there will be some old names from the many moons ago when I was an active member, 15 years ago. And meet some new Folks too. I'll get some pics up of the sorry state My Car is in and hopefully with the help from people on here get my Arse in to gear to sort it out. Graeme

Hi! I acquired my 2 + 2 Auto NA with 17k miles. It was kept hidden in a garage under cover for most of its life in Arizona. Now it lives in Florida and she is free to run about!

Hey everyone, Hardly a newbie but have been inactive for so long figured this would be the best place to reengage. Really good see most of the old gang on here still promoting the Z32. Began doing a full top to bottom rebuild of my Fairlady last year. Motor stripped down and delivered to TDI with goal to produce a fast high reving NA with over 300bhp. You may have seen the social media updates from TDI of the VG30 with the orange block, that's me. Certainly not the most frugal option but I love my NA and plan on making it the best in the UK. Will be updating/replacing the full drive train, new wiring looms, window out paint job, you get the picture. Currently sharing a lo…

  24. Started by SRRAE,

After about 10 years of my Z being a "project" I've decided I better get my finger out and start working on it again to make it roadworthy. I need to do the low cost/free things first. before I think about spending money on it. I will be needing to pick the brains of the people on here as I have forgotten so much about these cars.

  25. Started by ROB126,

Just wanted to drop a quick hello. Last week I bought a 1992 3.0 twin turbo 300zx and eagerly waiting for it to arrive all the way from Japan. Doesn't need much doing except driver's seat (changes to bucket). The rest is all stock. Any ideas where to source a seat? Seem pretty hard to come by. Ideally in Europe or Southern part of UK. (any pointers appreciated)
