Digital Camera's/Photos
I could'nt be happier with my Fuji S9600. I use a 2GB XD card, but a lot of the fuji's do use SD card as well.

where to buy this from???
I think that is one that zcentre designed themselves.....so unless they can offer it in CF then I think its only fibreglass.

Fancy a 300zx project
You can pull the Pipe off the bottom, let the water drain, and put it back...rather than drilling and resealing.......or just rip the entire thing out.

Fancy a 300zx project
yes, no problems with AGR or AIV removal. The AIV removal can make it run slightly richer at idle, but most aftermarket ECU Chips disable the AIV anyway and fix that issue.

Fancy a 300zx project
They are rarer yes, and the even lighter & stiffer Slicktop is even rarer...but they are out there...in fact I can see 6 SWB's from where Im sitting right now and 3 of them are slicktop. of the top of my head..... Aircon (Pump, bracket, radiator, pipes, condensor) EGR System AIV System Carbon cannistor Hicas system (solenoid, pipes, rear rack) Fit NA Pas system (smaller and lighter) Lighteight drycell battery Lightweight Pulleys Lightweight Flywheel Lightweight one piece propshaft Full SS exhaust and decat system (lighter than stock) NA Subframe and Diff (lighter and quicker accelerating ratio) Lightweight seats Remove stock spoiler FRP/Carbon Tailgate FRP/Carbon Doors (not recomended for a road car due to side impact protection) Lexan Glass Remove all sound deadening Remove spare wheel and tools Lightweight racing wheels 2 piece Brake discs with Alu bells/hats. Stereo system Dashboard does'nt weigh much tbh

Fancy a 300zx project
You could begin get with a SWB (2 seater) or slicktop (2 seater with hardtop roof) to start off with the least weight in the first place. Then stripping out everything you dont need/want you'll be able to drop a further 150-200kg. You could go really extreme with FRP or CF Body Panels (doors, tailgate..etc) and perhaps lose another 50kg - 75 kg. Be sure to maintain weight balance though! My Slicktop TT kerb weight is around 1350kg with full interior and full sound deadening (but with bucket seats). The slicktop TT was just under 1500kg stock. Power wise - Exhaust, decat, Chip and 1 bar boost will see your goal for a Flyhweel HP figure.

boost controller advice
Greddy Profec B spec II is a great boost controller. very popular. Compact (fits nicely in the stock clock position) and simple to use. I have the Profec E-01, which is more advanced with a ful digital display and can display more information (revs, temp, wideband o2 readings..etc) and link up to a E-manage ECU system, but if you dont need/want those functions then the the Profec B spec II "does what it says on the tin" :)

de-cat exhaust
Yep, thats works, I did that with my first TT. It made a noticable difference to turbo spoolup time. Although its not as efficient as using replacment decat pipes and the divorced wastegate elbows that they come with.
-
de-cat exhaust
Yes, all cars from 1995 onwards are required to be tested as Catalytic equipped vehicles wether the Data is in the Database or not. You would have to swap them back for MOT.
-
de-cat exhaust
Only Uk cars have pecats, and just the one. Jap Imports do not have precats. The Decat pipes usually include the elbows and downpipes that replace precat and cats. Price is about £130 for the Megan items.

Brake compatability
If your selling your brakes? Then the best place is the 200sx forum - sxoc.co.uk
-
Brake compatability
Yes. The front calipers and discs (togehter) fit straight onto an NA. The NA only has the smaller brakes before 1992 though, after 92 they are the same as TT. Rears are the same for all.

Bawahahahahaha

sideskirts...
Most sideskirts are'nt much lower than the standard sides, they just tend to change shape of the skirt area instead. If you look underneath of a car with skirts fitted the bottom is usually in line with the sill lip underneath

US road trip + Z fest fixed!
Im Very very Jealous Si. I'd love to do that....although I'd want to take my Zed along, and thats not really possible LOL
-
what do people reckon on these smic !!!
good point about the cost....£75 each as final retail price does raise concerns Intercoolers are not on my list yet....but having no bumper on at the moment and seeing the old tired looking IC's does make these very tempting.

NA v TT
Im suprised you said that Nick. IMO the NA "feels" a lot slower in comparison to the TT than it actually is, by that I mean the performance difference is'nt as great as it feels when driving. The opposite to what you said. Its the torque surge difference I notice the most, but I do love the way a NA feels when your giving them a good thrashing :D But then I do also know from first hand experience than your NA is a lot quicker than other NA's.
