  1. Welcome. Your looking for a 300zx or you have one ?
  2. You can buy a Parts washer for less than £50, but if your getting the head skimmed then the ask the engineering shop to clean the heads, they may do it as standard practice anyway..the engineering shop I use always does as well as clearing out any swarf left in the heads.
  3. The recognized safe limit is around 14psi on all z32 forums, across the world. Your injectors can just stretch to 17psi (they will be leaning out, but as THor mapped it at that level your probably ok), your turbo's are still efficient at 17psi...but your injectors lifespan is severaly shorterned as are the turbos and the risk of detonation is very very high. I know quite a few who use 17psi as a Overake boost setting but its not a boost level you want to use regularly. On a hot day you will get detonation. Your basically running everything just above their limits and that is a big risk. Do you know what Base timing they set your car at ? As for Bianic, 21psi+ is not simply possible on a stock setup. Your injectors can not supply enough fuel and your mixture will lean out, the intercoolers cant cool the air sufficienly and the turbos get too hot to make increased power- the car will severly detonate and either put a hole through your piston or crack the ringlands...and this would all happen in a matter of minutes...if not seconds..and has happened many times before. Either you haven't got eveything stock, or your boost gauge is lieing. If by some miracle your car has still surviced, then I bet if you turn the boost down to around 17psi you'll find its actually quicker than at 21psi.
  4. no, your fine on stock fuel pump. Its 255lph, once your into the 500-600hp region you need to look into a twin pump setup.
  5. you mean if your YOU ! lol
  6. probably because you smell ! whats happening next week ?
  7. Dont drive it around with the matrix leaking, you'll lose water and cook the engine. If you need/want to drive it then bypass the matrix first. New Matrix is about £120 and 2-3 hours labour.
  8. Fantastic !! Hamilton won a blinding race. 38secs ahead before hte safety car. As did Kubica.....and poor Sutil who was doing so well till Raikonen lost it into him.
  9. Loving it !!
  10. Cant make this now :( Have a good time. Take pics.
  11. yes, uk and jap both became electric in late 92/early 93. Easiest way is just to get hold of a electric passenger seat, they are out there, popping up on ebay or check with the Zed breakers. You then just need to feed it a decent power and earth. To retrofit the motors to a manual seat would be near on impossible.
  12. You want to make fake/replica 99specs then. Instructions are here : http://www.designwisestudio.com/z32/tail_lights/
  13. He's a Business Investor though. The worlds richest Arab with his hand in a lot of the biggest companies in the world. Not oil. He also owns his own Airbus A380 that cost him £496million after customisation
  14. i've not yet seen a "painted" plenum that did'nt look like sh*t (I stand to be corrected though if anyone has examples). If you want it done properly, get it powercoated. it should'nt be expensive.
  15. If the 300zx is a daily driver then Im sure its hitting pockets hard. As a 2nd car it does'nt make any difference though. I am looking to change my daily driver to something more economical though....need to work out whats cheaper to run though....a Petrol or a Diesel at the moment
  16. Generally a normal Zed autobox lasts about 2 weeks, so 6 years is bloody good going LOL Do a Diagnostics check first. if it all comes up clean then its a mechanical fault and time to replace or recon.
  17. Paul has them on ebay weekly but i know he is very busy !
  18. They do mostly sell on ebay. They sell the ebay downpipes..etc too. Manufactured in Taiwan I believe. I would search http://www.300zxclub.com to see who has them and therir opinion. I had a quick search and it was very mixed tbh. With a lot of stuff, its all down to inconsistent quality control issues. Check the spring rates though, most of these Taiwan manufactures units are all made by the same people, and sold under different brands, and usually have pretty harsh spring rates for the road.
  19. Hi Rich, I had 19's on my previous 2 zed's, and I had 17's and 18's on them before I put the 19's on. Ride quality was barely any different. No tramlining, no rubbing. No adverse handling characteristics at all. For ultimate performance/track car I would'nt go larger than 18's becuase of unsprung weight and rolling diameter (even with the lower profile tyres the overall circumference was noticably larger) but for a Fast road/daily driver the 19's suited the car perfectly. I was running 245 wide fronts with no tramlining but improved front end grip (reduced understeer).
  20.   Poor bloke. Poor cars. Gutting :(
  21. if the alarm is not turning off then yes probably is that ! is there a fuse on the alarm system ?
  22. Pay some Uni student to take the rap for you ;) :x: lol p.s NA and TT gearbox ratios are the same. Only the Diff ratio is different.
  23. You've had it compression tested ?
