Yes stupid question Bob ;) lol That is for all 4, and a very respectable UK price.

AC Fan not kicking in
The fan does'nt come on when you turn the aircon on, unless water temp is above 90c if your at standstill or up to about 25mph, then above 25mph it does'nt come on unless water temp is above 105c It should come on when you remove the 2 pin water temp connector though.

Is this a UK car?
No, not all UK cars were leather. Uk rear bumper, UK nose panel. Appears to be Jap front bumper (probably had a front-end....pretty typical). Cant really tell anything else with such tiny pics though

loom
It is possible to leave the aircon box connected and in the car still, so you dont need to regas it, but its very fiddly to do it that way. i say possible.....I cant get the old loom out without removing aircon box, but paul@swz can. If you do disconnect the aircon make sure you do it with plety of ventilation and keep away until the gas has cleared. R12 gas is not people friendly. ofcourse if you disconnected the aircon when you pulled the engine then no need to struggle with the aircon unit left in.

Fleabay dash kit
IMO you would be much better of spraying it with Black Chrome paint, rather than putting on a bit of sticky back plastic.

Rear discs TT and NA
Yep, rear discs, calipers and pads are all the same. 297x18 They are also the same for the fronts from 92 onwards.

Autobox F**ked ?
No, Auto's dont have flywheels. Just a ring gear for the starter motor to engage, and that weighs very little anyway.

mmm my zed is red

Could it have been bad petrol??
Did it do it when you rev the car at standstill, or only when driving ?

KYB AGX shocks
£300 'ish is about right. About same price as a set of standard shocks, but vastly superior.

Z3 S2000 or Elise
I have no direct experience with any of them but the Z3 has never had great reviews as a sports/drivers car and I would'nt even give it a 2nd thought plus its quite dated now. Both the Lotus Elise and Honda S2000 are supposed to be just about the best 2 seater roadsters in that price range out there...the elise being a no thrills stripped out toy and the s2000 being more of an all-rounder. Depends on the sort of driving you do in it really. I'd take the S2000 I reckon.

Cheapy cheap HICAS eliminator bar
Its a pretty big job, but not particulaly expensive if you can do it yourself. Im in the middle of doing this with mine. Just finishing stripping the NA subframe which Im getting shotblasted and powercoated then fully polybushed. You will need basically everything that is attached to the rear subframe when you remove it from the car : - All the arms (or not needed if fitting adjustable arms) - NA Differential - NA driveshafts - Rear propshaft (or fit a one piece lightweight propshaft) You will also need to disconnect the front hicas pipes from the pump and loop it back into the resevoir or fit a NA pump and pas pot. If your competent with Home mechanics and your way around the zed then its a job you and a mate could do yourself in a day or two. The subframes and parts all pretty hefty though so its heavy work. A garage would probably want a few hundred quid labour I would imagine. No idea what you might pay for the parts tbh perhaps a couple of hundred I expect. The benefits are No hicas, 50kg less weight and a 4.08 rear gear ratio meaning significant acceleration improvements (you will limit top speed to about 165...but it will get there quicker!). The NA rear driveshafts are not as robust as the TT versions, but unless you intend to use it for Drag racing all day long with 500+ rwhp I would'nt worry about it.

Check This Out

What shocks do you rate?
I used to have Koni;s and I rate them highly, but their major drawback next to the KYB's is the need to remove the rear shocks to adjust them :headvswal, whereas on the KYB's you just turn the adjuster on the side  Plus the KYB's have set adjustment positions (1,2,3,4..etc) , whereas its much harder to match the Koni's on each side without the clicks.

What shocks do you rate?
Forgot to say if you dont need/want adjustablity then the KYB GR-2 is a good aftermarket strut and cheaper than Nissan oem.
-
What shocks do you rate?
KYB AGX Shocks with Eibach Springs. Progressive springs, good ride quality, similar to stock but with improved damping and adjustablity (soft to hard). Lowers by about 0.8" or Coilovers wise I would go for the Powertrix Superstreets for a Road car with comfort in mind and "SPL coilovers" or "Powertrix Race Coilovers" for a more fast road/track orientated setup. All have Mono struts with Adjustable damping and independent adjustable ride height. You can get away without having to puchase adjustable arms with the KYB/Eibach setup, but you would need a full adustable arm setup with the coilovers. This is without going crazy on a very expensive hardcore track coilover setup.
