  1. Good on ya Harry, Its always hard returning somewhere you've not been to for a long time , but its rarely as bad as you expect. Lets just hope they don't try giving you too much homework though, eh. You back there all next week too ?
  2. Not Paul's or anything to do with Paul. I have seen this car recently and In terms of condition it is exactly as it was when purchased from Timmy Turbo except for the damage on rear arch. Still a bargain though, if buyer is prepared to spend some money on it.
  3. I loved my old NA Manual. A different car to drive than the TT. I would take a NA Manual over a TT Auto anyday.
  4. 700hp or not (I did'nt mention numbers or wether I believed them) its clearly a high powered example with the rest of his spec and hence the intercoolers must be doing their job. Im not aware of any test performed, but that does'nt bother me. Its just an intercooler, its big, it fits, has good flow, low pressure drop and its built well....quite frankly thats all thats needed to do the job. Im also not aware of any Intake temp comparison tests between any intercoolers for the 300zx. Yes you get different core types, fin designs..blah..blah ..blah....but were talking about replacing tiny undersized 15yr old intercoolers with bent fins and plastic end tanks here. That pic you posted suggests they are even better than I thought for a bumper with fog ducts. Like I said as long as you provide enough air to the charge face then its a worthy upgrade. I'd not suggest they are better than any of the competition, but they are very good value. Z1 were doing a group buy a while back, I like their intercoolers and the group buy price was very good. I wont buy from Ashz though, the guys customer service skills are a joke...perhaps when he eventually sticks to Design & Manufacturer and retails through a third party seller things will change.
  5. These new ones are 2-3x bigger than the ones you purchased Ed. Although personally I would of prefered the size to have gone in other dimensions rather than height.
  6. They are buying these up in the U.S. I dont see an issue with them, as long as you duct them properly (Fog ducts would be ideal). Wether there design lends themselves to being as good as the big name brands is another question...but better than stock...definatly. Here's a high powered example with them : http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2074139
  7. some of the offers on Viagra are great though !
  8. yep, I get at least 3 or 4 of these for different banks every day.
  9. Yep, they come seperaly like that or as part of some of the ebay fmic kits.
  10. Mon vs Ron. Add about 4 to the U.S forum octane ratings to match ours. eg. 93 octane in U.S is about same as 97 octane in U.K

Hey mate, sorry to hear your not well. Hope you better soon. Whats up with the zed?
  12. Thanks all :duffer: hiccup :duffer:
  13. Very popular Coilover option. Often overated, but perfectly respectable for a road car. They are not harsher than other coilovers, there spring rates are on par with most mainstream coilovers, you will not find softer in standard coilover offerings and they are a lot softer than the cheaper counterparts and More advanced Track orientated setups. I reckon thats a good price, and worth purchasing.
  14. Cheerz :D Its liquid lunchtime
  15. Mrogers Legrath
  16. Sounds good to me
  17. Marcuism LOL Sorry to see Gezz has to stand down, but Welcome back as REO marcus
  18. I'd say thats a bargain.
  19. There is a weight difference between the TT subframe, Diff, Driveshafts..etc and the NA setup......what the weight difference is, Im not sure though. Heard figures between 30 and 60kg spouted before on U.S forums, but not entirely sure about them....but bearing in mind the TT and NA vehicle total weight difference is 90kg, and the turbos and intercooler pipework...etc only weigh quite a bit less than half that. I dont know how I could weigh the complete rear ends though, I only have 50kg scales.
  20. Yes, you need the belts and rear trim from either a UK model, or a Jap model later than 92
  21. Allan has already seen and replied to that thread snowy
  22. You would'nt want to do it just to get rid of hicas, as Si says there are easier ways to do that, hicas removal is more of a bonus side affect. In terms of bushings, it has the same number of bushings. Although the rear toe arms are fixed, rather than attached to a Hicas rack and dont wear or cause issues like the hicas arms. Its main benefits are the Final drive ratio change, followed by weight savings. Pic shows my NA rear subframe prior to stripping for shotblasting and powercoating. The red circles are the rear toe arms that differ from the problematic TT toe arms that connect to the Hicas rack. if you were to do the conversion then I would recomend fully stripping and polybushing the new subframe before refitting....and that might be something to consider even if you decide to keep the TT subframe. There are 18 bushings in the rear subframe and multi-link arms.
  23. It does'n come with the hicas pipe parts, so you would need to loop the pipe from the Hicas pump back into the resevior. Not a big issue though.
  24. Its cold and miserable ere...no suprise ! have a good time
