dose anyone have a pic of where the knock sensor wire gose to

Knock sensor is located below the lower plenum at the back of the engine, inbetween the heads. The wire comes from the knock sensor up to a grey 2 pin plug at the back of the engine which will be near the firewall inline with the centre of the plenum. It only has 1 wire going to it from the knock sensor.

 

It then joins the rest of the EFI loom to the ECU.

As Legtath says and also the wire is usually coated in a heat retardent white nylon braiding
