A55 in a bloody Mitsi Charisma FFS! Hurtling home and then these lovely blue side-to-side lights appear like a UFO behind me! Pulled over, got out...usual "Do you know why I've stopped you?" sorta questions. In fairness Mr Plod was alright, he said he'd been following me since Bodelwyddan and that my speed had varied. At one point he had me doing 102mph! But said he would put it down as 95mph to save me from a Court appearance. Couldn't argue with that, take it on the chin I suppose! If I'd kicked off about speedo calibration etc. he would have just got the arse and probably slapped me for the 102 instead! So I decided best be nice and bite my lip for a change. …

More to be uploaded tomorrow. http://bagpuss.swan.ac.uk/dunk300zx/ Find him in the comedy section. Kevin Wilson is currently on a UK tour. His first for eight years. I'm looking into buying a Z32 so I called a dealership who has a 91 TT for sale. It has 115K miles on it. The guy said that the turbos are fine, and everything else appears to be great. The car will start up, run for a few, then shut off. It'll take it a while before it starts back up the next time. Any ideas as to what could be wrong? What's my worst case scenario?

I have noticed a small puddle of oil on my drive. I was dreading it to by my turbos but its not. The back half of my oil sump is covered in oil and the the gearbox. So its coming from somewhere between the between the sump and gear box. Any ideas of what it could be. My dad said keep an eye on the oil level, which doesnt seem to be going down, and it will be OK as long there is oil in. What can I do to find where its coming from? Stuart

Hooray - f**k Bill Gates and the new website - here's my new Mongoose: Nice noise and not too loud (bit of a boom at 2,000 rpm so don't use 2,000 rpm ) Thanks to everyone who suggested one, Johnny who sold me one and Xoticar who fitted it. (no politics - just thanks). Cheers - Gio ------------------ [This message has been edited by Gio (edited 31-05-2002).] [This message has been edited by Gio (edited 31-05-2002).]

  17. Just taken off my motor to make way for a Mongoose. The part number falls off the photocopied invoice but is something something B030041P61 Muffler Assy When fitted last May (2001), it cost me £418.25 inc VAT (yes, yes, I know, but I hadn't discovered this forum yet and hadn't even heard of Mongeese). It's a year old, still has some life in it and might be useful for someone who wants to match up with some of the end cans also occasionally mentioned here. If you're interested, let me know your offer. 10% will go to forum exes or Craig's beer fund. Posting is a pain so either buyer collects (near Heathrow) or comes to Slough II on 23rd June. …

In trying to improve website, most popular was to use server side includes to get menu/navigation the same on every page. eg Did this - tried to test on home PC (Win2k pro). Nothing. ISP said install SSI. Did. Nothing. Does anyone know where I can find an idiot's guide to setting up SSI so that I can test my new website structure so I can get on with doing what I wanted to do before that bastard Gates f**ked up my life. Thanks (PS please don't say Linux - yo umay be ri8ght but I only have two days to do this!) Thanks - Gio ------------------

Ohhh man this is a stupid fucking question but I have to ask you guys! Doh! When my car was leaking oil from the oil pressure sensor area obviously, over time(well months LOL ), it coated the whole of the underneath of the car FFS!!! Grrr So where could I take it to get the underneath steam cleaned? Main Dealer? Don't really want a Nelson anywhere near it to be perfectly honest! So do you guys know of any kinda garage chain that would be able to do this? Or should I just look in the Mellow Pages? LOL TIA ------------------
