hi everyone , does anyone no what this is?(maybe alarm immobiliser) i found this behind my stereo,its a small grey/black box about 4x4x1 inch on the front it has written CUR20-GB NISSAN(LOGO) MPT.1340 WT LICENCE EXEMPT on the side there is a slot for a 17 pin plug and 2 single slots with rx and tx wrote next to them,also a live power lead coming of it to my car now my car problems started after i disconnected this unit from my car( not sure if its a coincidence) probs with car:- no lights(except main and full beam)no indicators and interior lights,engine wont turn over,no stereo, its like ive go…

From day one, I've had a plastic sounding clicking coming from my Air Con unit. It only does it when its not set to 40. It doesn't matter what blower setting I select. I take it this part is a whore of a price (like all parts), to replace

Has anyone had this happen to them ? How much is it likely to fix ? Went to go out in the car today and the drivers lock is totally jammed. Remote unclock doesnt work, key in the lock wont open and also trying to open from inside no joy.

Since I've never done a 'long' journey in the 300, what would be the MPG for a 500(ish) mile journey? (Motorway driving, 80(ish)mph)

Hi all,just signed up having just bought a 1990 z32 twin turbo today,finaly took the plunge after reading all posts on this site which i must say is very good,now dont all roll about laughing,i know nothing of these cars,but the guy who sold it to me did not have details of what had been done to engine,there is a big TRUST gauge showing boost in bar,stock boost gauge works fine,goes to just under +14 when booted,so am i right in thinking its been sorted, ie, chipped etc,there is allso pod gauge showing oil pressure and this is working fine, 40 to 60 psi,how can i do a self check to see what has been done to engine,thanks ,bye for know will have more questions soon on car,…

when ur starter motor goes does some of the electrics go aswell, i cant turn the engine over,nothing just dead! rear light not working,indicators not working,front side lights not working,interior lights not working too, about the only thing that does work is the main and full beam front lights, its like i havnt turned my impbiliser off but even the light on that doesnt work, or have some fuses blown?which ones and where are they, checked the battery and its fullpower help anyone?!

where in the uk can i get autometer boost gauge?

ive just cleaned the engine compartment,a quick wipe! then i tried to start my car...dead as a doornail,f*ck,anyway after going round the engine compartment again (a few wiggle of the wires)hey presto the car starts when i put the key in,great thank f*ck for that ! so now!i decide to go and get some optimax and barstard hicas light comes on , what do you reckon guys a few more wiggles or sledge hammer!!!!

So I'm not happy with the coldness of the aircon (though taking the roof of is a fix I've been using - a lot)which leads to 2 questions to you guys: 1. How cold should it get? I'd expect (from my old Dagenham junkers) it to get seriously cold when I set it to 10. but it doesn't. 2. Whats the true situation with converting from R12 &/or is there anybody out there who can still refresh R12 systems?

Its finally happened ! some jealous wanker has vandalised my car!!! They have put paint stripper down the side of my car and on the bonnet. its taken the paint off to the bare metal, just spent the last 2 hours putting primer on it to stop it rusting. I have a problem, the car tax form for my wifes car has, um, disappeared. Last day due was yesterday so cannot use the car on the road until it is re-taxed.
