Front brakes due for pad replacement. Putting some in this weekend. However front calipers are making a "creaking" sound when applying the brake. How do I eliminate this and which parts need to be greased? Stupid question I know but I'm no mechanic.Thanks.

I want to replace the washer motor on my 86 300zx but can't work out how to release the cable connector that connects the 2 wires from the motor to the cars wiring. They are tube like things with no obvious release points. It looks like the original and I would like to keep it original. Any help would make my day.

Anyone knows a site where i can buy gauges online probably autometer or apexi??

I Would like to fit a dump valve (well 2 i suppose) not for any reason apart from i like the noise they make! Can anyone fill me in on which is best what they do (apart from make a cool noise) and an idea of price, also will they be ok on an auto?

Now ive got my money back and have nothing to lose by posting this i'd like to warn all potential Z buyers about a place in Nottingham calling themselves GOLD IMPORTS LTD.BUYERS BEWARE they are selling cars with 3 years warranty that isnt worth the paper its written on. Warranty holdings know nothing of them, Company house says they don't exist and they are not VAT registered all in all very dodgy. I would just hate to hear of anyone being ripped off in the way i very nearly was. I believe they sold a red one possibly on an F plate around about March time if its anyone here get back to them as your warranty is fake.

Hi Guys I hope someone may know how to get hold of Mr 300 Twin Turbo aka Sudesh Sharma. You may remember that he was getting 5 cars for breaking a couple of months ago. I agreed a price and sent a cheque for a clock but have heard nothing since despite lots of e mails to the original address. Lately I noticed the address changed, but mail to this address was returned. I know he apparently travels a lot from his postings and may not have been home in the last six weeks, and so far the cheque has not been cashed, but I would like to find out when to expect my clock- if anyone can point me in the right direction (without going to Ireland myself)! Hi guys Brought a 300 tt a few weeks ago. Its been fine, however Ive noticed today that as the car has been standing for a week and not started, it would not start straight away. I had to turn the engine over several times until it finally stuttered and started. Once I reved it, it was fine. This has never happened before, however ive never left it for this long, is this normal, maybe the petrol just needed pumping through? Thanks Karl

The Mrs has now decided she wants a Summer car. No probs i thought get a nice MX5 for a couple of quid and keep her sweet!. She however has set her sights slightly higher and tells me she has always wanted a Z3. So anyone had one or any experiences good or bad before my hard earned goes bye-bye. ok, here goes...... ive been having a big argument today... all those rolling road bhp figures, are they an estimated figure at the crank, or are they actual at the wheels figures. plenty of people seem to be saying that all the figures you see [eg, like with the zed rolling road day etc] are calculated in the following manner..... get an 'at the wheels figure' eg 250bhp, then add 10%/20% [or whatever the power loss may be through the drive,gears whatver] to get your at the crank figure - and then print that in the magazine etc for your bhp figure. is this how it is done???? or am i a big idiot with a big idiot sign on my head that says '4…

well i was just starting to get a bit zed nostalgic recently, and then to rub it in i see 2 zeds within a bout 5 minutes of each. first i see a gunmetal H reg import going m1 north near junction 27 at about 4pm then 2 minutes later i see a blue k reg uk model with a lady driver going along near mansfield somewherem, near the notts hollingwell golf club. anyway, i want a bloody z again now, arse.

So Falcon engineering have informed me that my turbo chargers are nearly worn out. So am thinking of getting new ones, but have also thought of getting hyrids. Which hybrids are reckoned to be the best for the Zed? Also do other modifications need to be made when putting hybrids on? i guess a chip is the first thing. cheers Steve
