Just got it changed and its a changed car. Need to look at the speedo now to check my speed its so much smoother. Funny when the mechanic I got to do it put it up on the ramps he said the shaft felt fine. He couldnt feel any play at all but I saw the sag and perishing when I jacked the shaft gently up myself. Sure enough the bearing support rubber is brittle, sagged, cracked and perished. Thought I could change it myself but no way on ramps and jacks unless you've arms like ET and superhuman strength. Fits in with consideration for our ABS pump and also has a cut out on the left hand side for the CD Changer: This is how it looks with the final layer of the false floor and the sub box. This is basically how it will look when you open the boot. Guys, Has anybody changed the A/C display unit from Fahrenheit to Celsius on an US model? I've got a US version and don't know whether this is possible or not. Some other models, like the Z31's or even Subaru SVX used to have one display unit for different markets (maybe due to production cost savings...) and you can remove a jumper or just cut a wire inside the unit to change the display to Celsius. Front brakes due for pad replacement. Putting some in this weekend. However front calipers are making a "creaking" sound when applying the brake. How do I eliminate this and which parts need to be greased? Stupid question I know but I'm no mechanic.Thanks.

I want to replace the washer motor on my 86 300zx but can't work out how to release the cable connector that connects the 2 wires from the motor to the cars wiring. They are tube like things with no obvious release points. It looks like the original and I would like to keep it original. Any help would make my day.

Now ive got my money back and have nothing to lose by posting this i'd like to warn all potential Z buyers about a place in Nottingham calling themselves GOLD IMPORTS LTD.BUYERS BEWARE they are selling cars with 3 years warranty that isnt worth the paper its written on. Warranty holdings know nothing of them, Company house says they don't exist and they are not VAT registered all in all very dodgy. I would just hate to hear of anyone being ripped off in the way i very nearly was. I believe they sold a red one possibly on an F plate around about March time if its anyone here get back to them as your warranty is fake.

Hi Guys I hope someone may know how to get hold of Mr 300 Twin Turbo aka Sudesh Sharma. You may remember that he was getting 5 cars for breaking a couple of months ago. I agreed a price and sent a cheque for a clock but have heard nothing since despite lots of e mails to the original address. Lately I noticed the address changed, but mail to this address was returned. I know he apparently travels a lot from his postings and may not have been home in the last six weeks, and so far the cheque has not been cashed, but I would like to find out when to expect my clock- if anyone can point me in the right direction (without going to Ireland myself)!
