Car Tax Question

I have a problem, the car tax form for my wifes car has, um, disappeared. Last day due was yesterday so cannot use the car on the road until it is re-taxed. frown.gif

 

Trouble is I'm off tommorow (sunday - bummer - gonna miss footy!) on my hols for two weeks smile.gif so cannot sort it out but want to know what I can do for when I get back.

 

Would like some positive answers please?.

    you can get a form from the post office, then backdate it to start from the end of May and just write on the form that the car is off the road (On your drive) for the elapsed period.

    They will back date the tax to the beggining of the month you buy it anyway so if you tax it when you get back it wont make any difference.
