ive tried to connect my aerial but dont no which wire it is to get my aerial to extend when i put the power on,i have a kenwood mask tape unit. if anyone can help id appreciate it ...jay its the wires behind the stereo

Trying to decide where to fit this. Don't want an ugly black lump on top on my nice swoopy dashboard, so I guess will need the re-readiating antenna. So where to put the unit? The best place I have come up with so far is: Any ideas? TIA - Gio ------------------

someone from a Nissan main dealer told me there are air filters in the wheel arches, is this true? I ask this question cus there a sound coming from kind of around the wheel arch. Sounds like something blowing when the car is idling and reving, thought it might be somthin at the front exhaust. Though the sound is coming from the wrong location for that. anyone got any suggestions?

Hi Guys, Just posting this looking for your opinions! I bought a SWB TT Z tuned up a fair bit but because the head gasket was going it was for a song. My original intention was to take the tuning bits off it, replace them with stock, repair it and sell it. Then put the performance parts on the Convertible when I TT it! I took it to Darren he took it for a drive and said it was one of the fastest Z's he had driven, and as a ballpark estimate he said it was 450+BHP! Woohoo! Just managed 343 miles on a tank - from full to fuel light flickering. That was including some bad behaviour and horrendous bankhol traffic jams on M5/M6 but mostly cruising at 70/75 mph. Mods include bicycle wheels off my sister's raleigh eighteen (two sets), dual fuel solar/propane, a large sail (helped by a tail wind), Vauxhall Viva exhaust (anybody want one fabricating?? - no? thought not!), plenty of axel grease on the brakes and all seats/carpets removed (I have a splinter in my a*se from the orange boxes we were sitting on) Ahem... I'll go now....

Battery was fine for ages, until friday. I was in the car messing with the stereo and doing a bit of cleaning, the stereo went dead and the aerial stopped half way down. So i check the battery, its reading 9V. We were going on hols that afternoon so I disconnected the negative and we came back yesterday. I charge the battery up, its great, engine fires first turn. Let it run for a bit, stopped it, 5 mins later started again fine. Come to it this morning to put the stereo presets back in. totally dead, no stereo, turn the key to on, no dah lights, nothing. Hi, I am thinking about ordering a front strut tower brace from www.procarparts.com, looks like the same as courtesey one but for $50!! They do a few other bits for the Z, totally clear indicators and indiglo gauges, carbon fibre dash panels all fairly cheap. If anybody else wants to join in and share the postage and the duty (see if we can avoid it)then give me a shout! Mark

90TT 80000Km 14Psi Is it just me or do all of u get between 10-12MPG. No matter how I drive it,Does running it @ 14Psi make a great difference in Mpg, or is there something failing apart from the coolant sensor. I have also got a 4.9L 928S4 Which I get 18-22Mpg, Someone must know the secret to driving a Zed economically..

Hi guys Started to notice that if I leave my 300tt running for a long time, just sat on the drive, when it warms up fully and the revs drop to about 900rpm, they will then start wandering from 500-1100rpm. It seems as if the car is about to stall but it doesnt, when you rev the engine its fine, but then after a minuit or so it starts doing it again. Never noticed this before and it doesnt allways happen. What could it be or is this normal? Karl

When I brake from 130+ the brakes are vibrating considerably more than ABS feedback feels like. Checked the discs and I can see blue spots around a centre line on both front discs and the pads have loads of depth left? Is this vibration and blue spots down to warping of the discs? They are tarox 40 groove and have only been on the car a year!! Bugger!!! ------------------ "Polished on drive" "Dirty at 156mph" --------------- Z first and anything else is secondary!
