hi guys ive just started looking into getting some uprated blow off valves,can anyone give me some ideas what to go for? and also tell me what the plus's or negatives are in getting uprated b,o,v's. im new to the "moddin" experience and would appreciate any advice or suggestions. my car is a 93 TT WITH:- UPRATED TURBOS K&N INDUCTION MONGOOSE EXHAUST CHIPPED WAITING TO GET A BOOST CONTROLLER(JETS AT THE MOMENT) WAITING TO GET 550/600 INJECTORS WAITING FOR NEW TURBOS,INTERCOOLERS,OIL COOLERS. can anyone give me some ideas on any other mods i need im looking to reach about 550-600 bhp hopefully by the end of the year jay

Hi peeps, I recently discovered my nearside front wheel is giving excessive play because the lower ball joint has leaked all its oil. I'm thinking about ordering a pair to replace both front ball joints- I'll also check the rear as well and perhaps do those too. Is this an easy job and are there anything to watch out for and what is the expected cost of these parts? Thanks in advance, Van

I was trying to modify my UK TT wing mirrors with Jap spec ones that electrically fold in. Unfortunately earthed the live feed to the switch now no 12v... In the owners manual it states that there is a fuse box in the passengers compartment is this so, and where in the passengers compartment??? Failing that does anybody know where the fuse is for the wing mirrors + clock (thats dead as well) cheerz, Alex

Now I know this is a sore point to many , buthas anybody who has fitted the kit like I have started getting strange noises when turning the engine off , sounds like a squeek or fart noise, its seems to be coming from the egr box on the drivers side, and if I disconnect the vacuum line to the breather kit on the drivers side it stops it?? what is wrong???its only just started doing it, and the breather kit has been on a few months???

a massive thanks to dave buckley at slaters of abergele 4 giving my z a quick look over and pointing out that the rear engine oil seal had gone south 4 the winter, very helpfull fella why cant all garages be as good, timmi u know who im on about bud top fella! respect!!!!! now might b a good time 4 the auto - man conversion!!!!! Have had my hks evc 4 fitted a while now but was just looking around andy's site and there was a page with setup instructions. In this it says to set the offset to 118-120 because of the long pipes, but in the proper hks instruction it says to leave at 100. What has anyone else got theirs set to and what does this do anyway?

I've had my Pearlescent Yellow TT for a couple of years and was thinking of replacing it. Test driving other sports cars makes you appreciate what you've got, so I decided to keep mine. The paintwork is getting a bit tired and there are a couple of small rust spots. I want it back to the original. I visited local body shops and they just don't care. None of them smiled when they saw my car (everyone else does). They just got out their clipboards and walked round it like it was a Mondeo with a dent! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Does anyone know a paintshop that cares?? I live in Woking, Surrey, but would travel some.
