Clutch not engaging, travel on the pedal - PLEASE HELP

Hi, I've scoured the old posts but can't seem to find anyone thats had this problem.

I got in my imported 300zx TT this morning and found I couldn't get into gear. There seems to be a fair amount of "easy travel" before the usual stiffness travel starts.

I think the easy travel is doing nothing and then when is stiffens is only semi-engaging the clutch (not enough for gear change).

Any ideas as to what may be causing this??

Any ideas/help will be hugely appreciated!!

Nick

PS uprated clutch fitted 10k ago, doesn't slip.

It sounds like there might me air in the hydraulic system. Don't know how it could have got in there though.

Try bleeding the system at the top bleed nipple.

Nick, This may help you. Online service manual pages for clutch system - www.300zx.co.uk/tech/manual/manual/cl

In particular 007.gif and 008.gif.
