I saw a Z yesterday in Ipswich which had a peice of carbon fibre stuff across the whole of the rear lights (one side of car to other) with circle holes cut out for brake lights, etc. It had 'Z' embossed in the middle of it. It sounds minging, but it actually looked quite good. Anyone know where you can get these ? stu

Hi, Does anyone have, or can anyone point me in the right direction - I need the bulb holders that are in the clusters behind the air-con display and the switch clusters. I just picked my Z up from four days at ZedWorld. She has never driven so well as on the 100+ mile drive home last night. Better handling (enegry suspension bushings), Better braking, more and smoother power (magic under the bonett). Oh and I almost forgot, headlights that let you see more than 10 feet in front of you. If anyone needs work on their Z go to Jeff for great rates and wonderful service.

I have put up with this annoying bumping sound for a few weeks now and as you lot on here are so knowledgable about 300s was wondering if you could give me a diagnostic, this is what happens, when on hard accelleration in first gear i get a little thumping sound coming from behind my drivers seat, but only happens in low gear and only when i,m trying to do wheelspins, sounds like someone is trying to get out of the back ,"gearbox most probably"anyway thanks for any help given.

I noticed while making a Z vid that some soot comes out of my exhaust when getting to about 3500-4000 revs. Its not smoke its deffinatly soot. What can this mean? Is it just soot from inside the exhaust? Or could it mean I am running rich? Stuart

excuse my ignorance,but what are/is AIV's, noise is more like a train in distance rumbling along, it comes from passenger side footwell like just behind ecu unit,cant hear it when moving, only when tickover,louder out side on passenger side from behind wheel area,how do i sort out the AIV's etc, thanks ps,sounds more mechanical than fluid? ------------------

I am about to buy a 300zx and need to know whether the extra expense and servicing costs associated with a twin turbo are compensated for by the difference in performance from a non-turbo. Any help much appreciated.
