Bought myself a camcorder. I have always wanted one. Made this very small clip of my Z. I am getting better at the editing, but I have trouble making the files small enough. Its 7mb for 1:07s. What you think? http://www.300zx.co.uk/rides/srrae/mynissan300.avi Hoping to make some really good vids for upload and to put on CD's. Stuart

Hi everyone, I'm having a really weird problem starting the car - when I turn the ignition to start the car, the engine won't turn (I can't hear the starter motor chugging) and everything switches on and off really quickly. Theres a sortof clicking sound as the stereo and avc-r and everything electrical switches on and off. Any ideas where to start looking? I'll get this bloody thing working if it's the last thing I ever do! Cheers, John

Have any u guys got an idea how I can get to the back of my odometer?? Don't wanna do anything illegal (well, I do but better not risk it!) its just that it's stopped working.... it wants to tick over to 89000 miles but has got stuck at 88999 and has also stopped the trip mileage thing from working too. Is this a major arse about job or a piece of piss????? Any ideas gratefully received y'all. Cheers Steve

Hi, Thought I would let you all know of someone on ebay selling the older type front and rear strut bars, both together for $80 and $40 mailing to the UK. A word of warning these are the type that courtesey say can rub on the hood insulation on some cars and you might have to move an aircon bracket as well. It seems like the guy might be up for marking them as a gift! I have asked him about group buys but he says that he can't offer them any lower, and 20 FSTB's wouldn't really avoid the customs attention! Then UK postage on top would negate any benefits! Will give you the guys email address as soon as I can did it out! Mark

Hi all, Excuse my ignorance - but is it possible to convert an auto to manual?? Recent posts hint that it is...what's involved?? I think if my Auto box ever dies I'd prefer to switch to man - which would be cheaper, recon Auto or convert to manual?? Cheers! RobH

Hi All, My brakes make loud metallic clunking noises when applied at v.low speed when cold (particularly when reversing) - not noticed if this happens when warm. Is this normal Z behaviour with standard calipers/rotors?? I don't half get some funny looks in the morning... TIA! RobH

Even though I was financially savaged by my last ZX (UK supplied TT), I'm after another.... I'm looking for auto Nissan ZX300 non turbo, if you have one for sale or know where there is a decent one, reply to this post and I'll drop you a line. In a perfect world it'll be immaculate, low mileage, have history, be either silver or black and... (dare I say) have been owned or recommended by someone from the forum.....

Brian, Did you get my mail? I was speaking to Smithy about buying a Razo Auto Shifter and he mentioned that you used to have one but changed to a manual box. Do you still have the Razo and want to sell it? They are very hard to get hold of it seems Chris.

I might have to sell my Z - 400bhp V8 which will no doubt sound awesome! Christened the Brera, the Giugiaro-penned stunner was unveiled at this year's Geneva Motor Show. Mixing Alfa heritage with a daring, futuristic design, the newcomer stands shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most famous classic Alfas, thanks to its flowing wings that curve inward to meet the traditional shield shaped radiator grille. At the rear, the car's composite bodywork recalls the legendary Giuli-etta Sprint, with a domed window that extends deep into the roof. Stylised headlights complete the look, and are reminiscent of t…
