Which do you think is the best more reliable boost controller?

I really like my Blitz DSBC

I have it for quite a long time now and it has never had any hickups at all

Some time ago I noticed it also has a VERY good safety feature:

the boosthose to the sensor had come lose a little bit, so the pressure that the bc measured wasn't correct.

Instead of blowing up my engine the bc 'noticed' something was wrong and went into some sort of safetyboost. (it wouldn't boost higher then 7psi)

They are all much of a muchness, i have the Blitz DSBC ID unit and i love it.

what about the apexi avc-r???

They are good, but i know a few people who have had problems with them.

what kind of problems?

well i think they have reliablity issues, and craig on this forum has had problems with his. The screen going ect.

Build quality ect.

But then im sure that could have been just one or two.

the screen went on mine, and i had to source another head unit, as apexi dont do spares, repairs or warranty after 30 days.

also, you cannot set an absolute maximum boost setting, so spiking is easy to do.. beware....

other makes have a top limit you can set

HKS EVC IV - installed two years ago. No problems to date.
