  1. Just renewed my subscription via Paypal. Paid the full £20 as there's been such a delay between my old one expiring and taking up this one.
  2. Hello. Have received an invoice from MAPP today for 500 Keyrings. It's ordered by Mac1, but has been sent to my old address in Coventry. To whom do I forward this on, as it states it needs to be paid within 30 days and is dated 3rd April. Haven't got PMs anymore (I presume that I'm no longer a subscribed member) so if you don't want to post your address on the forum, please mail me at mice_elf@hotmail.com. Thanks Anita.
  3. Living with partner and expecting first kiddie any day now..... :D
  4. Unfortunately in the event of an insurance claim, they usually go by Parker's or Glass's guide as to the price of your car. It wouldn't matter whether you had it insured at 18K or 180K, if it's only worth 8K, in the eyes of Parker's, that's all they'll pay out, after a struggle. If it's the other way around they don't bother... As in if you insure your car as worth only 4K, but Parker's says £6K, they will only pay out 4K as that's what you said it was worth.
  5. What a crap ending to a very sad story. :( There *are* decent Zed mechanics out there, if you know where to look. I'm sure anyone on here will be able to point you in the right direction of them to save you having to get rid of your Zed.
  6. LOL...Mine *is* a 2+2....maybe I'll just duct tape the baby in.... :D Russ - haven't got PM capabilities at the moment until I become a member again, but my email address is mice@biscit.biz. Thanks. :)
  7. Cheers Russ. :) LOL Gio - possibly! :) We've already got it some small car booties (sad, yes but they were on sale! ;) ) and the bibs that we've been given have car themes on them as well, so I think a theme is being set! :D Must renew my memebership to here as well.
  8. LOL...are you getting rid of the newborn one or the Britax one? If you do want to get rid of the newborn one, let me know what you want for it as I'd definitely be interested. Thanks Anita.
  9. It's a UK Zed btw - so standard 3 point harnesses.
  10. Cheers Vijay. :D At the moment, it's just the standard rear seat belts in the back. Ideally we'd like a seat that remains fixed in the car, as opposed to a removable car seat that leaves the base in situ. I've read through the discussions but just wondered if there were any recent recommendations as these things change so much... Blimmin expensive, having Zeds! I mean....a baby....! :D
  11. Hello. :) For those who are parents and still drive your Zed, what is a good baby seat to get? Are there any that fit into the Zed's backseats? Am just over 8 months pregnant now, so will need to get this in the next couple of months - we have the company car to use as well, so it's not urgent, but we will be driving about in the Zed, so baby will need somewhere to sit. The boot was suggested, but quickly vetoed! :D Does anyone have any recommendations for baby seats? Thanks. :D
  12. Thanks for all your well-wishes. :) I'm sure that AndyP will be brilliant in the role as Treasurer and Herman Munster more than capable of dealing with the Membership side. :)
  13. Due to time constraints I'm handing in my notice as Treasurer. I've been promoted at work which means that I'm very rarely at my desk anymore and frequently travelling between sites, therefore I can't allocate the time I used to in doing the Treasurer's duties. From getting up at 5:30am to start work, I rarely see the good side of 8pm before I've finished for the day and I'd like to spend time with my partner without interruption! :D We no longer have many free weekends and due to more time being taken up with work, we rarely get the opportunity to spend time together. Plus which, the housework is suffering!! It's a decision that I've been thinking of making for some time but kept putting it off until the accounts were sorted, which they now are and have been passed over to the Committee. I'm not sure who will take over the role, but I wish them all the best for the future. I'm honoured and pleased that I was able to assist in the setting up of the Club but it will be very nice to be able to be an ordinary member of the Z-Club again! :)
  14. Matty - I'll send yours out tomorrow. I had yours at Billing and meant to catch you on the Saturday.
