So come on then lads "Why Did you buy your Z" Was it for the performance? A lot of cars go like a Z Was it for the looks? OK it is one of the Classic shapes Was it for the looks you get when you are in it? I must admit I get just as many people look at my Soarer as my Z. Was it for the value for money? just bought boost,oil and water autometer gauges from rx7 store $182 delivered to ya door,not a bad price and ill let ya no how long it takes to get them? this is after having a right fanny on getting my visa accepted.

and got a before and after printout. The after printout gives a number of measurements as "not within specification". They are: Left front camber -2°08' (spec -1°35' to -0°05') Left front caster 8°24' (spec 9°00 to 10°30') Left front SAI (KPI) 14°09' (spec 12°05' to 13°35') and Right front caster 7°13' (spec 9°00' to 10°30') This was after they adjusted so what do I do next? There I was a few weeks ago saying how much I love my Soarer and how quiet it is and smooth ect,ect. Then I go and pick up a '92 300zx TT from Tilbury dock, that I orderd 8 weeks ago. Well Bxxxxcks to quiet and smooth this Z will slap my Soarer all up and down the M25 for breakfast. So I take it all back chaps, if you don't have to compromise like I do, then go for the Real Sports Car. Been driving about in my lard arse Soarer for too long. Rick

ive tried to connect my aerial but dont no which wire it is to get my aerial to extend when i put the power on,i have a kenwood mask tape unit. if anyone can help id appreciate it ...jay its the wires behind the stereo

someone from a Nissan main dealer told me there are air filters in the wheel arches, is this true? I ask this question cus there a sound coming from kind of around the wheel arch. Sounds like something blowing when the car is idling and reving, thought it might be somthin at the front exhaust. Though the sound is coming from the wrong location for that. anyone got any suggestions?

Hi Guys, Just posting this looking for your opinions! I bought a SWB TT Z tuned up a fair bit but because the head gasket was going it was for a song. My original intention was to take the tuning bits off it, replace them with stock, repair it and sell it. Then put the performance parts on the Convertible when I TT it! I took it to Darren he took it for a drive and said it was one of the fastest Z's he had driven, and as a ballpark estimate he said it was 450+BHP! Woohoo! Just managed 343 miles on a tank - from full to fuel light flickering. That was including some bad behaviour and horrendous bankhol traffic jams on M5/M6 but mostly cruising at 70/75 mph. Mods include bicycle wheels off my sister's raleigh eighteen (two sets), dual fuel solar/propane, a large sail (helped by a tail wind), Vauxhall Viva exhaust (anybody want one fabricating?? - no? thought not!), plenty of axel grease on the brakes and all seats/carpets removed (I have a splinter in my a*se from the orange boxes we were sitting on) Ahem... I'll go now....

Battery was fine for ages, until friday. I was in the car messing with the stereo and doing a bit of cleaning, the stereo went dead and the aerial stopped half way down. So i check the battery, its reading 9V. We were going on hols that afternoon so I disconnected the negative and we came back yesterday. I charge the battery up, its great, engine fires first turn. Let it run for a bit, stopped it, 5 mins later started again fine. Come to it this morning to put the stereo presets back in. totally dead, no stereo, turn the key to on, no dah lights, nothing. Hi, I am thinking about ordering a front strut tower brace from www.procarparts.com, looks like the same as courtesey one but for $50!! They do a few other bits for the Z, totally clear indicators and indiglo gauges, carbon fibre dash panels all fairly cheap. If anybody else wants to join in and share the postage and the duty (see if we can avoid it)then give me a shout! Mark
