OK it is one of the Classic shapes

 

Was it for the looks you get when you are in it?

I must admit I get just as many people look at my Soarer as my Z.

Was it for the value for money?

Not many cars go like a Z for 5 grand.

 

or was it for the all round package?

It has to be the best!

I'd been fortunate enough to run a 1979 GTR Skyline back in 1979-80.....and was really impressed with it compared to the Mercedes 450SLC and 280SLC that I was also running ( I was in Dubai at the time!!).

In 1990 my boss of the time traded in his BMW 635 CSi and arrived in a glorious brand new bright red 300ZX TT....it made a lasting impression.

A few years ago I was looking for a good 'mile-eater'....started looking at 200sx's as I thought they looked good value for money....then I saw the price of 300's!!

 

I couldn't believe how cheap they were....of course I had no idea quite HOW expensive they were to run. I still think that in terms of mph for your money they take some beating....and yes, they do look drop-dead gorgeous.

I was naive enough to think that being a Nissan it would be bullet-proof...ha! I can identify strongly with 'B19RKS' comment....as I expect we all can.....still, you're a long time dead, eh guys?
