I am still looking into a HID setup for the 300ZX, and the only item left is to know how much space between the Bulb base, and the lens is available, as the HID bulbs are nuch longer. Can someone please make this measurement as my Zed has now gone. But will be replaced soon. Leigh.

Hi All, I know some people on here had a large sum of money removed from there account, and I found this on a web site today:- Hi everyone. Just received an e-mail from a friend on how to make £20,000 in 2 weeks. I won't go into great detail but if you can match / agree the following criteria:- 1. You must be a resident in the UK. 2. Have a valid debit card. 3. Be willing to spend only £5. 4. Follow the instructions sent word-for-word. Interested??? Just go to the contact page and mail me with NOCHEX as the subect. I'll then gladly forward details on how it works. Have a read, you have nothing to lose! About Me and My Cars Hi, I'm …

My 1990 standard UK spec auto TT went in recently for a replacement auto box to be fitted. I guessed it was probably a good time to have the turbos reconditioned as I had got blue smoke coming from one set of pipes...particularly on tick-over. The main dealers reckoned that it was probably the oil seal in the turbo. The car has 56k on the clock. I had both turbos taken off and reconditioned....both had new seals fitted. These were then refitted and the whole thing put back together....I wasn't present when the garage restarted the motor....but they reckoned it was the best smokescreen this side of the latest Goverment press release! The garage are adamant that …

Red Zed seen heading east along S coast (escaping from Hastings?). Anyone here? Fastest thing along the retirement coast (except for mine when I go down to visit aged p). You may have spotted a nurk in a silver Astra pointing and grinning. May I point out that I was only in the Astra as the garage have been playing "hunt the propshaft" over the past week. - Gio

Wow, what a holiday! Great weather, great cars and great women! I should have never come back! Well, what can i say apart from- We get truly conned on this side of the pond! I had a camero for 2 weeks which i borrowed from my aunt who has a house there. When i first drove it i was pleasantly surprised with its power and comfort- unfortunately it didnt know the meaning of corner but it didnt matter because the roads are all straight! The most pleasant surprise came when after not so many miles the fuel tank needed to be replenished. So, i drove into the peppy and proceeded to fill her up (the car). It clicked off at 20 dollars!!!! The tank was full!! BARGA…

When the oil sender died last time the pressure would periodically drop to zero. This time, she never drops below 30 but only hits a maximum of 40 even at 4000 rpm. Oil level is fine using whatever SE put in there and is about 3000 miles old after an open engine experience. Could it be anything else. After she was put back together she was hitting 70 psi at 4000 rpm.

What a difference. The stock one is crap. To start with on ignition the gauge stays at 0-bar, where it should be. The responce is instant. As soon as you press the accelerator, the gauge shoots up to 0. Took my car for a spin to see how good it is. After about 5 mins of driving, so the engine is not quite to 100% temp, I put my foot down and look at the gauge. It got to 0.5 bar. Which is about 7 psi. What I expected because the ECU cuts it down when cold. The stock dial was reading 14psi. When its warmed up foot down again and it went up to about 0.65. Which is right. Again the stock one was showing 14psi. Tell you what the oil pressure one is like when I get tha…
