W/Screen washer motor

I want to replace the washer motor on my 86 300zx but can't work out how to release the cable connector that connects the 2 wires from the motor to the cars wiring. They are tube like things with no obvious release points. It looks like the original and I would like to keep it original. Any help would make my day.

    ...sounds like brute force and some wd40 will do the trick.
