Just fell into this one so watch out you don't get caught as well. Insured with Bell Direct - reasonable deal but if I had found this forum, could have got cheaper with others. Hole in exhaust (in todo list on website) so good excuse to upgrade to a Mongoose (thanks Johnny). Advised Bell Direct - they said extra £40 or thereabouts in full year. OK, I said, go ahead. Policy letter arrives & says 1) So how come excluding their liability for £500 worth of lovingly-tooled stainless means I have to pay more? 2) They didn't tell me that the modification was excluded from cover until after they had taken my money. They also gave severe bullsh*t th…

Okay..I sometimes have a leak from my coolant bottle. Not from over flow pipe. Think it's the rubber seal which looks screwed( the coolant bottle splits in half)...no loss from radiator at all. Is this something major causing this or just a silly seal?

We had the cold war for decades, Russia and America at each others throats. Massive threat of them two kicking off and blowing up the planet in the process. We've had Colonel Gadaffi and Sadam Insane causing nothing but shite, recently the Osama tosspot and Al Quaeda wankers! But who would honestly have predicted that the next major war also take into account they are both heavily armed with Nukes FFS, would be between India and Pakistan? What are they having a go over by the way? Shitty bit of land? What are Israel and Pali fighting over? A shitty bit of land! FFS! ------------------ [This message has been edited by Timmy_Turbo (edited …

Hey guys, since you're the only others probably interested in indiglow guages that are in kph, there is currently a group buy being put together at www.aus300zx.com Have a look here if interested: http://216.119.125.120/forum/index.cfm?action=getMessage&message=18088&forum=1 Prices are in Australian dollars The guage would be made to 300kph and a J-Spec speedo can be converted to 300kph by changing 2 resistors. Euro-spec guages go to 180mph which is around about 300kph so can probably be used with those as well. Ben

I was driving along the other day when i spotted this little oik in a nova moving at quite a pace towards me so I dropped into third and popped the throttle down. As the car was boosting, at between 4000 and 4500 revs, the engine cut out briefly until i eased of the throttle! At this point he overtook me - this cannot happen again! Any ideas - greatly appreciated!

Can anybody please point me in the right direction to purchase a 'socket' type oil filter wrench for the Z?? Tried all the usual motor factors who imply that I am insane and such a thing only exists in science fiction (w*nkers!!) Cheers! RobH

Anyone know what the pigs have by way of unmarked vans in the Oxord/Bucks area? I passed something that looked like it had some kind of camera pointing through the front windshield, mounted at the back of the cab. No markings at, except for it being parked 25m in front of a Speed Check Area Sign. Looks like the pigs are making the most of their toys before they are going to have to paint them bright yellow!

Nothing spectacular but might be of use to someone : - 4 x standard wheel nuts - clock (working but a little on the dim side - matches the headlights !) - rear n/s tool try (the grey polystyrene thing) - not great nick but fine if yours is missing If anyone wants them then they're yours. Priority goes to site owners and people who have done me favours. I can bring them to Billing (unless I find I can't make it in which case I'll get Craig to take them up there). Dave
