General Discussions - 300ZX Related

Hello people - does anyone know where to buy machined-alloy wheel spacers which bolt into the hub, instead of the ones which use longer studs? I need some 20mm ones for a Skyline (same dimesnions as a Z32, I believe)? Many thanks.

Went to get a new windscreen again due to major scratches right in view of driving. The company have found one in this country this time ,it is bronze like I want, but the insurance company don't want to pay for the tint. They would rather waiver the £50 excess and have clear glass. Any one know what the difference in cost is, cos it would be interesting to know. It must be more than £50. Probably have bronze just to piss them off and get some of the insurance money back.

I've got a Non turbo 93 ZX Jap Import and need a new steering wheel... The center bit is okay ish.. Will a wheel from a turbo model fit and will the old center bit fit to it... Oh and does anyone have a good NA steering wheel for sale... Cheers all ------------------

Not driven the car for a while so decided to take it for a blast. Roads still a bit wet so driving apropriately. Come to a major roundabout on the A6 near Horwich and decided to get a bit sideways - overcook it and end up facing the on coming taffic. Bad! Cos I a'm diagnal no traffic can get past so its building nicely and there all staring at me. The car has now cut out due to the battery terminal being loose and coming diconected. So I have to flip the bonnet and mess around before waving to the crowd of on lookers and driving away - possibly my uncoolest moment ever. See on the horizon a very shinny black car - to far to know what it was, floor it to about 120 to catch him up and realise its a 300zx - as i'm coming off at next junction give it a bit more stick to catch up. just to let you all know my local nissan dealer rang me today they have now seen the light with the £25 parts search on inports i have used my uk chassis no so many times to order parts for customers cars i think nissan must think its unreal how many cam belts,water pumps,knock sensors and head kits any one zed has had ------------------ philz

It seems my aircon condenser has a hole in it. I put the car in for a conversion to R134a, several new bits etc to be ready for the'summer'. Lo, the garage called tosay as fast as the gas went in, out it came. So, no aircon. Still, on the bright side, no charge for the diagnosis. Question. If I get the condenser off, is it likely to be repairable, or are they definitely a change only item? Quoted £180 + VAT + 1.5 hrs labour on top of the rest of the job, so it was cancelled. just have to take the tops off!!!
