And for you guys with english humor: I DON'T mean pissing in the fueltank! I've seen from ERL a system called Aquamist and I was interrested in it as it would work great against detonation (as I would have bigger intercoolers, higher octane fuel etc.) Has anyone of you such a system fitted in their car? T.T.F.N (Twin Turbo for now )

I have a Packard Bell 1.5 Ghz PC with 256 Mb RAM and 60 Gb hard drive. I'm trying to use it to edit video which has previously been OK on small videos (couple of minutes) but I'm now having a nightmare with 5 minute + videos. I'm finding that the 'make video' option (which compiles everything) is freezing. It does it at a different point every time and it isn't a full crash as I can hit the 'cancel' button. I did a defrag which helped a bit and got it running a bit longer each time but still not to the end. Given the above and the support pages for my video editing software (Pinnacle), my uneducated guess is a hard disk speed problem. The support …

My Z broke today made a shitty noise when reversing then wouldnt get drive(auto) after turning off and on i get drive with horrible noise for 10 yards then no drive again so i phone Warranty holdings who my car has an apparent 3 year warranty give them my policy number to be told theyve got no record of it ie. the dealer has not sent in his copy of proposal form and the fee. Getting hold of the dealer i bought the car from is proving difficult to say the least. I think ive been shafted, does anyone know where i stand legally? Or how much its gonna cost me to get it fixed.

This was posted by myself on the forum. I am (was) still waiting for my 'kit' to arrive some 6ish months now. Nothing. But i know & can read between the lines posts of the past months! And after seeing & judging for myself as an engineer this 'kit' just aint the one! Johnny & AndyP who were good enough to get the ball rolling from day 1, did not know where this was going to lead - me thinks! So I will not call T Tec's anymore - because (I DONT WANT IT ANYMORE). I've tried ringing GPS last week & if he's as busy as me i understand why i can't get through, we all got bills to pay. So i would like to know if the money I payed to 'GPS…

Hey all Have a custom built sub box built by Sounds Advice only 1 month ago. Sold one of my zeds and so dont need it anymore. It has a complete false floor and cutout for a standard sized CD Changer. The sub hole is for a 12" sub. Currently has a 12" JL Audio and can be demo'd. Will sell with or without the sub and is very very professionaly built and creates a marked impression when the boot is opened Email if interested you will be very surprised at the price i'm asking!!! Hi everyone! I'm going to be fitting braided brake lines to my car in the next couple of days, if I manage to work out how to route the lines through the line clips, that is. On the front calipers, the lines form an 'S' shape, going through two retaining clips. The problem is the lines that I bought (From SE, the 'Exact' brand) do not have the metal bits on the lines that the clips fit into (The rubber lines have two metal bits that the clips fit into). How then do I route the lines? I cant just feed them through the holes for the clips as they would chafe with steering and suspension movement. Anyone got any ideas? ThankZ John

is this my last resort. While the car is off the road (awaiting new clutch) I want to get my ECU socketed. I have tried a local place who started and then said he didn't want to continue incase he broke it . I have also tried people at work, and ppl who they have recommended but I still have no socket Finally I rang SE-Nissan and asked for the number of the person who does it for them, they wouldn't give it to me lol but said I could do it via them at a cost of £45. So my question is, does anyone know where I can send it for cheaper and where I can get a guanatee on delivery time. Ideally want it back in 5 days cos car is booked in for clutch! …

Has anyone tried using black shoe polish on their leather seats, it would seem ideal to get the little scuffs out but I don't want to look like I sat on a wet park bench afterwards. Herman

Came across this pic on a Japanese Car site. The comment on the pipes was that it followed the normal Japanese welding finish. Makes you appreciate the workmanship that Smithy's company put into their pipes for us. What do you think - Heinz 57 ?????? [This message has been edited by Geoff (edited 21-05-2002).]
