This was posted by myself on the forum. I am (was) still waiting for my 'kit' to arrive some 6ish months now. Nothing. But i know & can read between the lines posts of the past months! And after seeing & judging for myself as an engineer this 'kit' just aint the one! Johnny & AndyP who were good enough to get the ball rolling from day 1, did not know where this was going to lead - me thinks! So I will not call T Tec's anymore - because (I DONT WANT IT ANYMORE). I've tried ringing GPS last week & if he's as busy as me i understand why i can't get through, we all got bills to pay. So i would like to know if the money I payed to 'GPS…

Well it happend! since buying my z the clock has worked then not then worked then not then worked then!! you get the point but for last week she has gone to the great place in the well wherever so i need one. I am in Bristol and will travel if have to or you can post!!!!!!!!!!!! cheers Dave

Jap Spec Rear Bumper in red with metalwork and 2 standard 16 inch rims in reasonable cond with very worn tyres. Bumper £80.00 and Wheels £20 each. If anyone has a passenger side recirculating valve and whats rid. please let me know. Fed up with the noise and hope replacement will cure it.

Hi I am about to buy a 300zx that i seen on the net. Shes an import but the engine number is ' E-CZ32 ' . Is that normal for an import ? Is it the same engine as the UK spec .?? Greatful for some advice Cheers Darren

Hey all Have a custom built sub box built by Sounds Advice only 1 month ago. Sold one of my zeds and so dont need it anymore. It has a complete false floor and cutout for a standard sized CD Changer. The sub hole is for a 12" sub. Currently has a 12" JL Audio and can be demo'd. Hi everyone! I'm going to be fitting braided brake lines to my car in the next couple of days, if I manage to work out how to route the lines through the line clips, that is. On the front calipers, the lines form an 'S' shape, going through two retaining clips. The problem is the lines that I bought (From SE, the 'Exact' brand) do not have the metal bits on the lines that the clips fit into (The rubber lines have two metal bits that the clips fit into). How then do I route the lines? I cant just feed them through the holes for the clips as they would chafe with steering and suspension movement. Anyone got any ideas? ThankZ John

is this my last resort. While the car is off the road (awaiting new clutch) I want to get my ECU socketed. I have tried a local place who started and then said he didn't want to continue incase he broke it . I have also tried people at work, and ppl who they have recommended but I still have no socket Finally I rang SE-Nissan and asked for the number of the person who does it for them, they wouldn't give it to me lol but said I could do it via them at a cost of £45. So my question is, does anyone know where I can send it for cheaper and where I can get a guanatee on delivery time. Ideally want it back in 5 days cos car is booked in for clutch! …

Has anyone tried using black shoe polish on their leather seats, it would seem ideal to get the little scuffs out but I don't want to look like I sat on a wet park bench afterwards. Herman

Came across this pic on a Japanese Car site. The comment on the pipes was that it followed the normal Japanese welding finish. Hi All, Can anyone advise on a suitable electronic boost controller for a Z32 1990 import TT?? I know the Blitz DSBC will work OK but are there any suitable (and cheapish) from another manufacturer - my choice seems a bit limited at the mo'. I don't want to use a manual one. Do they have to be a DS setup?? Cheers! RobH

Had an AP clutch fitted by Middlehurst recently. Loads better than the old stock one (i.e. doesn't catch fire when doing fast starts!). The pedal is surprisingly light but, as expected, it has a very on/off feel to it. One thing I'm not happy with is I get a lot of judder when trying to do fast take offs. Is this normal for this type of clutch or have I (a) got a duff one or (b) had it badly fitted? (Timmy, try and refrain a little from what you're about to say about Middlehurst!!!!!) Cheers Mike

As I hardly ever post on here and am just one of those boring people who just read the forum, I thought I may as well get my money's worth today. I have an overheating problem that only occurs in standing traffic. The car runs perfectly the rest of the time, no matter how hard you drive it. When I get to the fun motorway traffic jams, the Z has overheated on a few occasions. The viscously coupled carrot dicer works fine. The electric fan works fine. There are no water leaks and the coolant is at the correct level. I'm presuming the thermostat works as I don't get any problems when driving the car fast. The only time I get problems is when there is no forced…

My bouncy bouncy car is now in need of four new shock absorbers to stop it bouncing around quite so much. Any ideas if there are some good aftermarket ones and which ones to choose? I may just go for stock if they're good for the money. Any suggestions, as always, gratefully appreciated. Mike

reading some of the recent posts it seems that chrisc is the man for chips and johnny for suspensions. Can anyone give me contact details for them? my n/a import is still limited and i think i might as well get it chipped as it needs delimited anyway. also i was thinking of getting lowering springs, is it ok to just get springs or does this cause too much pressure on the rest of the suspension? should i just get a full kit? ive got my 19s going on and the car needs lowered so any feedback would be appreciated. its a 1990 and done bout 45000 miles.

ive just instaled:- ecu chip exhaust induction uprated turbo's +i'm wating for a boost controller. ive already ordered a autometer boost gauge what gauges would you install?????

ive got lowered springs(30mm). i like the lowered suspension but i'm finding the springs ive got a bit soft, can anyone recomend some good springs/suspension? i'm not wanting to spend mega bucz but i dont want some crap! anyone!!

i'm thinking of getting the 3g brakes for my zed. anyone got these or does anyone have something different that they think are better for a similar price? cheers Steve
