Techy Gurus, your advice is required: What boost are you running? What are your performance mods? How did you work out the max boost to run, did you get it tuned or just guess it based on when it started pinking? The reason I ask is that I am running 16psi as I guessed that would be ok. Before setting up the boost controller properly the boost would creep up to 1.53bar (22psi) and pinking like hell. So I am being very careful. But am I being too careful? ------------------ Z first and anything else is secondary! John Newcomb (NukeEm) www.geocities.com/jn300zxtt

  9. All, Pete at SE has become overloaded with engines it seems - and the waiting lists are mounting up. He's spoken to Richard at Holbay Engineering (where my engines been rebuilt) and asked if he'd be interested in building some of his engines for him, since he's got a huge backlog of work, and customers are already facing a huge wait for work to be carried out. Richard used to work for Pete a few years ago - and if you call Pete - he'll back up the above. It's worth noting at this point that Richard only does engine building, and electrical work - he does no body work! (Leave this to somebody else) Anyway, thought I'd mention this after chattin…

Two blonde genies appear and they tell him he has been granted three wishes. The guy makes his three wishes and the blonde genies disappear. The next thing the guy knows, he`s in a bedroom. in a mansion, surrounded by 50 beautiful women. He makes love to all of them and begins to explore the house. Suddenly he feels something soft under his feet, he looks down and the floor is covered in $100.00 bills. Then there is a knock at the door. I'm fitting a new steering wheel but can't shift the bolt holding the old one on. In the service manual it says use the removal tool but I don't have one. Is it just a normal nut that fixes it on because it just won't budge. On close inspection it looks like it may have some kind of locking system. It doesn't help trying to do it on my own with the wheel moving all the time. I presume it comes off anti-clockwise?
