hi I need some help. I own a z but i´m not having problems with it, the problem is that my mother lended me her car because i´m fixing mine, I had an accident, i smased in too a jeep and dameged the radiator´and too day i was changing the radiator, I took it out, but then i had too move the car, when i came out of the car, i notished there was leaking some sort of an oil out of the bottom lines(not the main colling lines ) but some smaller lines apporcimatli 1cm Ø , can anyone you tell me what it was that was leaking there out and do i have to have any worries abaute that. thanks in advange.

Does anyone know if it is possible to fit a baby seat on the back seat of a 2+2 300ZX. There are only lap seat belts as standard, and apparently you need a diagonal chest belt for a baby seat. I havn't got babies by the way, its for a friend (likely story !!!!) Thanks in advance AndyZ

took all my trim out,started looking for the harness conection and an hour later i'm sat totally puzzled ,where the fuck do i conect this harness i bought with the turbo timer,it doesnt fit anywhere,anyhow i sit for another half hour trying to put a square box in a circular hole and i finally give in and phone johnny ,gps FUCK he only sent me the wrong one.BASTARD. never mind johnny it wasnt ur fault if anyone had seen the faces i was pulling they would of pissed themselves.

I have a Sony Radio/Cassette and a Sony CD changer. The Book of the Radio says it has CD-Text on it but I cant get it to work. Does the CD changer have to be compatible? I have searched the internet to find out if they both have to say CD-Text on them but cant find anything. I have a Sony XR-C7500R Radio and a CDX-605 changer. Does anyone know how it all works? Stuart

When driving with the window open i sometimes get a smell of petrol.But it dosent seem to come from out side I wondered if the petrol sender was under neath the back seats or boot carpet.I have spoken to SILVEA ENGINEERING they told me this was common just wondered if anyone else had this problem or knows how to solve it cheers Spencer

I had a look at doing this but was slightly flabbergasted .. is it the sort of job that can fook ones engine if done incorrectly? I have been quoted £200 to have the job done by Abbey Motorsport, plus the £100 for the round trip.. seems like I should have a go eh? I was gonna sell it but I might as well plumb the bugger in really. Another think I was worried about was fuelling.. am I right in thinking that I can be conservative with boost settings and not actually have a new ECU for fuelling? Do I need a remapped ECU installed to actually use an extra couple of PSI that the EVC can give - I am currently only getting 7psi and cannot locate the reason…

I've brought my PC down to Wales and have a new BT line. Every few minutes I get a pop up saying "You have just ignored an incoming call". I've spoken to BT and they tell me that I don't have call waiting and don't have 1571. I'm running XP. Any ideas ? Cheers Dave

My Z failed the MOT, not that I was suprised. One of the things it failed on: Front suspension top mount Does anyone know of an uprated supension top mount or do I have to replace it with a standard Nissan one? Hi every one heres a little poser for you lot when my z is stationary and i hold revs up to 18/2000 revs the car either vibrates or is missing very hard to distinquish which any thoughts! [91 uk tt auto] cheers Dave PS just removed my stock radio/cassette and cd player [under cassette]out to fit kenwood demask system do i keep the frame work!! in which the radio cassette/ cd player is carried to enable me to fit said system or leave it out?

the nissan micra only comes in 1 type of flip chromoflair paint. if anyone has any pictures or links of the micra with the paint please let me know.

Does the oil pressure guage give you any clues about the oil level? After the oil change the pressure would rise to about 100 psi on idle then slowly drop to about 30 psi after 15 minutes. Now the initial rise is still to 100 psia but drops almost immediately to 60 psia before hitting 30 psi after 15 minutes. Does fully synthetic degrade to give this effect (oil is 2500 miles old)

I want 18" black/ anthracite coloured alloys to fit my Z! I can't find them anywhere except Gran Tourismo! Can anyone help?

Fuel pump started humming, brought it to the mechanic and he said its located within the tank itself and replacing it is troublesome. Recently the humming increased considerably. Anyone know is this a big job and how long after the noise will the pump fail???

After many years of tolerating the gurgle behind the driver side fender I finally decided to sort out the AIV's and filters. I remove the cover and out drops the alarm klaxon, held only by it's cable so it appears that I can't tell the difference between a rattle and a gurgle . If I ever get hold of the alarm installer he's going to be singing soprano for the rest of his life!
