Porterfield brake pads

Hi chaps,

Thought I would just let you know that i can supply Porterfield brake pads. I sell a lot of these for the Supra's and MR2's and everyone loves them including myself.

Prices for the 300zx are as follows:

R4S Fast road front pads £68.27

R4S Fast road rear pads £54.48

R4 Race front pads £95.86

R4 Race rear pads £74.65

I can also supply braided hoses and Motul brake fluid to go with them.

Let me know if you are interested.

Regards

Paul

Paul,

Have you got any details about these pads, composition, temp range etc?

Do I assume that the Fast Road are the equivalent of EBC Greens and the Race the EBC Reds?

Are those prices inc VAT and delivery?

Tim,

You are right about the equivalent EBC pads but The only difference between the EBC and the Porterfield is the fact that the Porterfield are actually a much better pad and don't fade half as quick as the EBC pads!!!!

I have had both, and the Porterfield are in a different league to the EBC.

If you want to see any details on the pads go to http://www.porterfield-brakes.com/

The R4S is a very good road pad and can be used on the track without fade, problem on the track is they wear out very quickly because they can't handle the high temps.

The R4 is also a very good road pad, warms up very quickly and gives VERY good stopping power and you will never get these to fade on the road or track. Only problem is they produce quite a bit of dust under hard use and can squeal if you don't use copper slip or something similar on the back of them when installed. I personally use the R4 in the front and R4S in the rear for road use and stick a set of R4 in the rear for track useage. These are miles better than anything else I have tested so far. All this is based on testing a Supra TT by the way.

Cheers

Paul
