When you fit a boost controller you disconnect the stock boost solenoids allowing the controller to dump the pressure. This disables safety boost control by the ECU. If you are running with boost jets the stock solenoids are still connected and allow the ECU to put the car in safety mode if detonation etc are detected? Is this correct?

Jesus i hope this doesn't start a war...... Carrying on from my previous post about problems getting a chip done at SE, i promised to give an update and my findings of the chip, so is it any good ????? I hate to say this, but yes it is..... better than the JWT i had, how much, depends on the mods you have i reckon, BUT the chip could be gold plated and give me 1000bhp, all the shine and glory off it is wiped away by my dealings with them, yes they came through in the end, but christ ! what a job to get there. On from the previous thread, my ecu had been there 10 days, i phoned up for progress and was told it would be in the post that day (friday), by monday aftern…

The Z I've just started dismantling has got some unusual rear speakers. The are Bose. They are bigger than the standard speakers and yet still fits within the same space as the standard ones. Photo below. Let me know if you're interested (01634 221783). I don't know how much they're worth ?????

I've got a complete set of front and rear leather seats for sale. The front seats we recently recovered at a cost of £900 !!, so obviously it was a top notch job. The rear seats are also the same colour leather, although not recovered. I'm after £500 for the complete set. Photo below. Feel free to call me if you're interested (01634 221783)

Now that I've got my vibes sorted it's time to get the '99 spec front on. I need some of that stainless steel mesh type stuff that people have used to cover the rad and intercooler vents (like Harve?). Any idea where I can get it ? Thanks

Ok Guys ( and girls hasten to add)..the BIG DEBATE: What's actually FASTER in the 0-60 and 0-100 times. Both stock cars...the Auto TT or the Manual TT. On Twinturbo net most say the auto 0-100...even from the lights. And this is both UK Spec and Jap spec ( Japs supposedly have 20hp more right?). And has anyone ever raced eachother on here to settle this...just curious.

Hi guy's Would like to fit New Front spoiler. The one that takes my fancy is the Scarab type shown on the Zcentre webpage. Although the fitting and painting cost is too much for me. I have a mate who can spray it to match my car, but cannot fit it( he sprays motorcycle panels but can spray spoilers as well ). Has anybody fitted one of these type of spoilers and can tell me the sort of work needed to fit. Do they fit pretty well or are modifications needed. Or is there anybody on the forum who would be prepared to fit it for me. For reasonable charge. Any info much appreciated. Cheers Dave.
