Jay just got his Z chipped and boost jets fitted so we went for a spin. Macca lost big time as we both overtook his SLOW puny looking Z LOL

It was tight but just finished cutting & welding the origional speaker mounts to accept 6x9" pioneers, wanted some Vibe's but the magnet was just too darn big!! ------------------ I feel the need, the need for speed!

Im about to get my 1st 300zx TT , All i know is im importing from jap , and i want the short wheelbase 2 seater . I want relibillity so what i go 4 man or auto

Having bought my first 300zx (Jap import), I'm looking for a new rear spoiler to replace that foam thing. Also, I'm struggling to find a new set of alloys for it? Can anyone help?

Now that I've got my vibes sorted it's time to get the '99 spec front on. I need some of that stainless steel mesh type stuff that people have used to cover the rad and intercooler vents (like Harve?). Any idea where I can get it ? Thanks

Ok Guys ( and girls hasten to add)..the BIG DEBATE: What's actually FASTER in the 0-60 and 0-100 times. Both stock cars...the Auto TT or the Manual TT. On Twinturbo net most say the auto 0-100...even from the lights. And this is both UK Spec and Jap spec ( Japs supposedly have 20hp more right?). And has anyone ever raced eachother on here to settle this...just curious.

can anyone tell me if the rear ball joints what the hub sits on can be brought separately went to nissan and was told you have to buy the whole lower arm £220.00 + vat per side what a rip off,because im doing the rear bearings thought i might do these as well any help please lads

How long is the reccomended time to let the turbos cool down or what have you got your turbo timers set too? Cheers Tristan

Hi guy's Would like to fit New Front spoiler. The one that takes my fancy is the Scarab type shown on the Zcentre webpage. Although the fitting and painting cost is too much for me. I have a mate who can spray it to match my car, but cannot fit it( he sprays motorcycle panels but can spray spoilers as well ). Has anybody fitted one of these type of spoilers and can tell me the sort of work needed to fit. Do they fit pretty well or are modifications needed. Or is there anybody on the forum who would be prepared to fit it for me. For reasonable charge. Any info much appreciated. Cheers Dave.

Does anyone know if the rear sports dics for the 300zx are the same as for the tt, on the brembo site I've got a price for the tt rears $259, though when trying to order them they are not showing in stock at all. The telephone number is a 1800 U.S number, does anyone no the international number? they are stating they ship international, yet no international number! Also is this a good choice of disc? New centre bearing and rear gearbox fitted today - sorted ! Both had visibly sagged when compared with new parts. Got the bits from MJP, centre bearing kit was approx £150 and the gearbox support £55 incl. VAT.

my nephew has got a corsa 1.2 8v (nearly beats the Z not lol he has got a sportex back box and a pvd air filter (pipercross) and he wants a bit more power but what he realy wants is it to pop when he backs off and i said it might do it with a larger injector but i ask u lot problem is its only singal point but he cant afford any thing faster cos he is only 17

The person who installed my last clutch unfortunately extended the push rod size (berks!!). I need to know what length a standard size clutch slave cylinder push rod is so I can return it to normal. I would just get a new one from nissan but they are on back order for over a month. Please help!!!!!!!!!I need my car back on the road!! Cheerz Simon H

I posted a thread called 'vibrating front end' or something earlier. Thought it could be wheel bearings or something... Took the zed to the main dealer this morning so they could check it out quickly, of which they did, so praise to them. They rang me at lunchtime and said that the wheels were on the wrong places (front - rear swapped, left to right etc.) and that the wheels were loose!. To cap it all the front nearside was virtually about to come off, FFS!. Nissan charged me £20 odd to fix which I didn't mind (for peace of mind). Do I :- a. threaten legal action to the place that re-con. my alloys b.ask for my £20 back from said place c. beat the cra…

I'm after Blow-off valves,performance exhaust and any other after market bits you've got knockin about for my 1992/j uk 300zx tt.

Just past her MOT. Asked about the emissions. The tester said he measured Zero emissions! Probe was as far up as it would go. Could it be something to do with the 5" Apexi rear pipes or are Z's just such clean running motors?
