Clutch Pedal

It is normal for the clutch pedal to go heavy when it is depressed a few times when the car is turned off or is it an indication that there is air in the system?

Featured Replies

Eh ? It's an indication that the servo is not doing anything if I understand you correctly ...

Not doing anything?

I am talking about when the car is not running. Is that still the case Andy?

Well if the engine is not running then you have no server booster for the clutch, or brakes (or power steering etc).

Perfectly normal Cos - the vacuum assistance is no longer there so it will get harder to press....

CheerZ,

Andy

Thanks guys.
