hi guyz what tyre profile will I need to keep things true would '40 be OK for rears and '45 for the fronts or shall I go to '35 and '40 respectively. Also can I fit say a '265 to an 8"J rim?? cheerzz anyone.....

just wondering... and i notice jeff has these on his website, which car are they for? as the jap and uk models have different parts, for example the shocks are different on uk and jap cars. or does the catalogue cover all models? thanks in advance

Bearing in mind one of you guys is in there next month, I'd have a word in their shell like. In the top 100 cars bit they list the 300ZX TT as 0-60 in 7.1 secs and a top speed of a measly 148MPH! HHHHHHMmmmmm.

Just thought I'd let people know what happened today. I was jacking up the front of the car (from the cross member) and just putting axle stands under the side rails. They were just about in place, but I had to get the car up just a little bit more when suddenly the jack slipped from under the cross member. Luckily for me the stands were just about in the right place, otherwise I would imagine I would have done a nice bit of damage. I used a small woulden circle the fits in the jack and was told this would be fine, seams not. The car always seams to move slightly on the jack when I'm lifting, but I read this was normal. Does anyone have any advise that might stop thi…

I've changed my front brakes callipers and rotors and took off my rears for cleaning/spraying. I got them back on no problem, but last week I couldn't bleed the fronts as I kept getting air coming through. That turned out to be the master cylinder leaking and I put a new piston kit in today. The problem I now have is I can't get any pressure on the pedal. I have bled the brakes 3 times (using instructions from TT.net and the Nissan manual) and there is no more air coming out. Unless I pump the pedal, I get no pressure and after about 10 seconds after I get pressure I press the pedal again, there is no pressure. Please, any suggestions?????????? Cheers Vijay

In order to test to see if my Autometer gauge is reading properly, Craig has kindly offered to let me hook his Blitz gauge up to my car and go for a test run. The difficulty is that Craig doesn't have the required pipework to attach the thing. The connector on the back of the gauge looks like this and he has some 2.5mm poly pipe that may or may not be anything to do with the gauge. Does anyone have any idea how this gauge should be connected up? It's a mechanical gauge incidentally.

All, Its finally happened. The insurance company have settled the claim and I can now break up the car. I will be taking the car to Jeff's (for breaking) in 2 weeks time when he arrives back off holiday. Give me a call on 07973 720987 if you're interested in any parts. Now is a good time to test drive the car if you are interested the the auto box (recon'd and uprated)or engine etc before its broken up. Hi all, I have one of these and after reading about the auto feature of other makes thought I would have a look at mine. It seems it does have an auto setting (only realised after a year and a half lol). Could someone explain to me as I don't have a user manual how it works out the countdown time? had z off road last month and when i put it bak on the road on sat i knew it had a small oil leak in to the drivers side turbo (smoked slightly when first started) but when i went out in it on sat it was belching smoke out for a bout a mile but after it had got warm it was fine must have just with it been stood for a month and just been moved around not getting warm but i shat my self when i set off there was a smoke screen following me looked like an F1 car that had blown up but its ok now av to get it sorted though soon

Hey folks, My clutch is slipping so I'm gonna get a new one. The thing is, it stops slipping when I've been on the road a while 20+ miles. Would this just be down to the plates warming up and therefore gripping a bit better? -Stu

I now have to drive 4 miles around small muddy country lanes to get out of my house just to reappear 100 yards from it!! The reason given for the bridge collasping was the WEIGHT of HGVs going over it, NO HGV could fit down it so it must be guy next door with the SUPRA! I could allways do a dukes of hazard and build a ramp to jump the bugger, plus I could get the missus to wear those denim shorts! ------------------
