If it ain't one thing its another, i think i need a bottomless wallet. Within the last 500 miles me car has started to smoke, very slight at first and now it chuckes it out, smelly thick blue smoke when its cold. I can leave it on tick over for 15 mins to warm it up and it still smokes even though its up temperature, but when i drive it its stops after 2mins, then it doesn't smoke again until its stone cold. I have noticed when de-accelerating I can hear a sucking noise that I didn't notice before. Performance wise haven't really noticed any difference. I gutted the CATS about a 1000 miles ago, apart from that the car is standard and got nearly 70,000 on the clock. D…

I was offered a slightly non running H reg imported twin turbo auto yesterday at a good price, so Ijust couldn't resist. What will my wife say :-( I'm 90% sure I'll be dismantling it, unless I'm very lucky and my Z mechanic Darron says he can resusitate it. Anyway, that means all bits are available again. I'll get Darron to try and fire up the engine aswell, so I can see if its a gooden. Thanks AndyZ

ive just had a monster install put in. The boot needs a last layer on top to cover the amps/leads etc but other than that its complete. problem is the vibrations. Anything plastic/not welded down is making it sound bad. I know about the dynomat or whatever its called but £13 for 2 little pads is gonna empty my pockets. oes any1 have any advice/know any alternatives. Tooley what did you use for your monster install. O and its really funny driving down the motorway seeing the windows vibrating.

My Jap spec Z beeps through the speaker when I'm doing 105kmh, I presume this is the national speed in Japan. I was wondering how I can alter this for a different speed, or is the only option to remove the wire to the back of the speaker.

spotted a silver zed behind me in traffic on millbrook bypass headind west at lunchtime today. Anyone here?. wasn't in my zed as its having some work done to it.

anybody want to swap ur alloys for my zed alloys i'm looking for ,18's or 19's i'm not happy with 17's and want bigger ones. will swap mine + cash if ur alloys are worth it. 4 brand new tyres on mine 1 week old. jay

anyone had these changed - I hear they last about 90,000 miles then are shagged? Any good prices or recommended garages? Im after some running costs coz as Tim has pointed out these cars can be really expensive to run. If anyone can post some average prices of thigs they've shelled out for it would be mopst appreciated.

Hi Guy's When looking through the front bumper to the radiator. You can see two steel pipes running the length of the radiator, one is 10mm and the other 8mm. These are held with 2 Plastic clips, one of my clips has broken and i am trying to order a replacement. So does anybody know a part no or can anybody tell me where to find it on the microfiche or where the pipes go to. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Dave.
