I see lately there has been a few guys trying to find part numbers and with Nelson now charging for the jap imports, could we not have an area on the forum, where everyone who buys from their local dealer, lists both the part numbers and the price paid for any parts purchased, in a box next to it, mark jap or uk, that way in no time at all im sure when people want to buy something, they simply look up the part number in the ready made list and will also know an approx price to expect to pay, gotta be worth a go guys. What yer think ?? smithy

what you got to say about these tyres? Are they gonna be out of control in the wet just like the crappy jap ones on atm or will they have some amount of traction? the oens on atm are really bad im talking it will swing round driving like a granny.

I'm after one of these, does anybody have an old one they no longer need? Condition is not that important as i will probably paint it, no cracks though. How much do Nissan charge for a new one?

When i lift of the thottle after accelerating i am hearing a noise that sounds like a creaking door or air horn, this happened not long after i fitted a stainless steel mesh induction kit. I'm thinking that this might be a leaking pipe by the recirc valve or even the recirc valve itself, but this is just a wild stab in the dark. If this does turn out to be the recirc valve would fitting a dump valve help? Does anybody have any recommendations for BOV's, and why are they so expensive? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for what is ultimatly nothing more than a pretty noise.

changing the brakes today and it seems the brake lines I've been supplied are all wrong in some way or another. Firsty am I right in saying that on the rear, you change the rubber hose (circled in yellow) only and still use the metal pipe that goes to the calliper? And on the front, does it matter if I miss the locator circled, as the new line is not long enough to go through it. The original line went like the line in red. On the way back from Tony's on saturday, i developed an intermitant buzzin' from the rear end, audiable in side the car. But when you stop it only lasts a second or two to try & locate it. Car feels no differant at all, if im looking/feeling for fuel starvation etc. Its not the usual rattles & squeeks that the Z gets as i've had 'em all & cured them - LOL. Any diagnosis would be appreciated. Where is the fuel pump located anyway? Cheers....harve.

Does anyone know who owns the white Z that is on SE's catalogue? I want some pics of it but don't know where to find them. There were a few on here a long time ago. It's the one with a Stillen front, Veilside side skirts, wide arches, round rear lights and a huge wing on it's arse. I think it has some huge engine mods too. Bled the clutch fluid this morning and there was a shit load of air in the system. What would cause this problem?. Is this a common problem on manual Zeds?. How would this affect performance on the car?. My Zed seems to have a lot of power there but does not seem to be as quick as it once was. It does not have the same kick at 3000 RPM. Thought that my RPS clutch may be knackered but don't know now. I would be grateful for any views guys!! Cheerz Simon H

Just got back from a weeks holiday in cryprus. Anything exciting happened? Any news on any group buys yet.( bit short on money tho.) Have the 80w bulbs come in yet who ever was ordering them. Saw some real nice spoilers fitted to some Honda's whilst out there, would look better on my 300 tho. And a bloody Nissan micra with a dump valve. Very sad but very quick.

Bloody hell, I put an add in the for sale/wanted section & someone has replied. I've been trying for the last 2 hours to see the reply but the page hasn't been updated yet! It's really frustrating.

advise on brake discs needed.I want to change the brake discs and the pads but can't afford to change the calipers for now.
