Had an RPS clutch put on my Zed about a year and a half ago. Did this because the stock clutch could not handle the upgrades I have on the car. The clutch has not performed at best over that time and seems to be getting worse. It seems now to be slipping. I am very pissed off as this RPS clutch was not cheap. I need to now which is the best clutch to go for and how much it would be. Also would it be advisable to put a new flywheel on. Would a stock flywheel be ok. I would be greatful for any advice as I am going to get one this week. Cheerz Simon H

Hi folks, I'm trying to find out the part number for a splash guard that screws up underneath the front of the car (the front one that connects to the front spoiler) but I'm not sure where to start looking. Any ideas? Thanks, -Stu

Had a nasty shock the other day when I saw a few spots of oil on the drive! Closer inspection revield a smothered uderside! After much cleaning and serching revieled a corroded oil pipe. The pipe comes from the oil cooler at the front of the car. you have to trace the rubber pipes from the top of the cooler down to where the hard pipe joins. Mine had corroded right on the bend and was weeping oil. To make matters worse it must be the most awkward thing to change on the car as there in no room to get to it( if you have a look you will see what I meen!) I suggest that you spend half an hour or so checking thi out! ------------------

Finally got round to doing an ECU diagnostic following couple of weeks worth of random coolant boiling and subsequent discharge... Cleaned coolant temp sensor but no joy, but ECU is giving me code 13, so this confirms the thing is phucked. I know how to do it, I know the part number and I know the rough price (£20-£25?) but cos its an import, will Nelson still want to line their pockets with an additional £25 just to get me the price?? Or cos I know exactly what I want, can I avoid the ludicrous fee? The part number I have btw is from the Courtesy website so will this apply to this country also, or will this just be US? In short, where can I get one sharpish, a…

Well after how ever many months of sitting at home and having to listen to the 'happy talk' that goes on on this forum, I can quite happily say, I will not be coming on here again and nor do I want anything to do, anymore, with the shit that flies about here because of minor comments made that seem to be taken much too seriously by some parties. (Long sentence). I tried to join in with Mr T at first and really enjoyed it and was looking forward to going to loads of meets and if situation permitted, Billing. But to be quite honest, anyone who manages to talk technical stuff on here and gets a result good luck to you, afterall isn't what this forum is supposed to be abou…

Did Bexley Heath, Ramsgate, Hastings back to London dropped colleague at Lon City Apt then 400 miles on Friday evening back to Scottie land. Having suspected my centre bearing for driveline vibration for some time I put it on ramps today, crawled under and took a looksee. The rubber part seems all intact but the prop is sagging and sitting on the ring support instead of bang centre where I think it should be. I can jack under the prop and raise it to where it looks right but it sags straight back down. Guess the rubber is perished and doing no damping whatsoever. Plus out of line prop will vibrate and vibs will transmit straight to body. Do I need a centre bearing support? I think yes. How much and does it come with a bearing or just rubber? I have the warm up and the vib between 40-50 went away but n…
