Yup, FedEx are very efficient at collecting the tax !

UPS put a 16 quid admin fee on top of that as well !

is there anyway to avoid the admin fee by asking courtesy to use a different courier. and who are fedex. are they part of the inland revenue?

Paul youll find out who FEDEX are when you recieve your goods from the states lol.

Expect a nice little bill from them about a month after you get your goods.

Federal Express, the courier methinks.

DHL send you a nasty bill too, their admin fee is £10.

Cost me £60 to get £20 of parts delivered. frown.gif

get invoice sent to you sperately from the main package and have the package marked as "gift" apexi in Japan do it if you ask them and you shouldn't be charged import duty
