MAC1 you know how I love the rear of the car, always presumed that the bumper was a complete unit, however having just read through the thread on SE I see that Timmy Turbo is getting a rear underwing. Am I right in thinking that the bit that goes under the exhaust is a seperate bit of kit? If it is what sort of money are you looking at, and finaly how do you need the wide arches to set it off or will it look ok with standard arches. Timmy, Mac1 thanks in anticipation Mark

Hi Guy's My air con is working fine, except on hot days, when it seems to struggle to get to low temp. Probably due a recharge, but i would expect it needs a gas change. How much does this cost, can i still get the old gas refilled/ charged. If not, is the new type of gas successful. Any info much appreciated. Cheers Dave.

John, I noticed you have an engine start button in your Z. I bought one of these a couple of months ago and haven't got round to fitting it yet. Any tips? Is it easy to fit? Strange but I also just bought a Momo Millennium wheel like yours too!

Posted this on "that fan in the roof" but thought it might get more "viewers" here. Here's a few things you might not know: If you set the air con to Econ (Economy) it switches off the compressor and as has been said just uses the air from outside and heats it if needed. As the compressor is not being driven you get better fuel economy. The only time the compressor is required is when cooling the air to below the outside air temp. If you floor the throttle the ECU turns off the compressor for a while to give you more power! If the upper cabin is cold and the footwell is warm, the upper fans will come on fast and hot to quickly heat the upper area to the sam…

Had this noise for quite a while, its sounds like tappets, although it go's away when I take the clutch off, its a tiny tapping sound, can hear it in second at low speed also when reversing and going forward there is a little clicking sound in between changing gears, its coming somewhere for the front. Has anyone got any clues? I also checked the message board out about the amount of oil people are putting in their cars, recently my zx has been stagering just felt weird so I put a litre of semi-syn in the oil in and it started smoking under the car around about the loction of the turbos's, I was sh*t scared so I pulled over kept the car running eventually the smoke dissap…

It happens to be that the 'Lack's' in the blue corner @ the 'harve's' in the red corner. Are of for a bit of fishing very soon, quite simple - biggest net over the duration wins. If they win i will go & buy an astray from the charity shop & pay £25 for it! None of our history in fishing will be disclosed to you. Any bets made & lost by the forum big or small, will be expected to be payed to the charity shop of your choice (honary consious) harve

Okay, I'm a total numbskull when it comes to suspension. I've just had a 'Full Nelson' (major service!) and have been told that my tie-bar bushes are starting to split. 1 WTF are these and will the car be unsafe ? 2 What kind of cost do these puppies run to? 3 The usual 'if it breaks-mod it' rules apply- can you get poly ones and are they worth it. 4 WTF am I doing posting this in the general instead of the tech form. Ah well- too late now Cheerz Dave BTW I saw a white Z near Southport station at 5.00 pm- was it you?????

Hi Guys Just started to take my breather kit off and I need to ask some advice. I purchased two new pipes to the crankcase REF: 11823-40PO1 and 11823-40P11 (thanks for the part numbers Eric ). I need to know which pipe goes on which side of the car. I also need to know which way around they go. As Lack300 said (in my last breather kit post) the stock pipes have a restrictor and a brush type thing inside. Does the restrictor face up to the crankcase pipe or down to the large round black hardpipe???. I would be very grateful if anyone can tell me which way these pipes connect on. PleasePleasePLEASE!!!!!!!!!!! Cheerz Simon H. BTW Thanks again Eric …

Beefy Fart Sounds loud, and will smell a bit like the rotting offspring of a B.S.E infected cow and a dog turd. Brewer Fart You try to push a brewer fart out, but it stays firmly lodged deep within your bowels. You come to the conclusion that it is some form of gaseous landmark. Bunbuster Fart Sounds like a Beefy Fart, except much more sudden and much much more powerful. Generally smells eggy or beefy. Leaves your asshole smarting. You really feel these babies. Compost Fart You know the compost heap that a gardener keeps at the bottom of the garden? Well if you jump on it you will have some idea of what a compost fart sounds and smells like. Do n…
