Anyone have any tips on cleaning the Air con filter? Whenever I have used the AirCon during the past two weeks the air starts to smell(setting myself up on this comment ). I found this link http://zetton.power.ne.jp/lady/photo/evaporator/index.html on how to clean the filter. Heres where the filter lives(near the glove box): Heres the Filter: I was just going to scrub away with a toothbrush like in the link. Anyone know of any specific cleaning sprays that can also be used? Ta, Trev

Having seen various post's on the benefits of this kit (or rather not)I am keen to take mine off and make it standard again. Problem is I did not install it and have no idea on how to do this. Is it difficult? Can anyone give me a diagram of how this kit plumbs in / out. I think my kit may be responsible for a bad vaccum leak on my Zed at the moment I would be grateful for any help as I am going to have a go over the weekend. Cheerz Simon H

Thinking about having the windows done, but the guy who does this takes the glass out so the job is done properly. Rear side windows are bonded in, my experience of bonded glass on cars being removed and replaced is that it ain't cheap! Has anyone had this done on a Z? TIA ------------------

Bob, Everything is hooked up correctly for my MP3, but no power to the unit, 12v are running each side of the fuse for the MP3 player. All conected as the instructions say that came with the MP3 but it seems that the power is lost in the cradle in the car, I can plug into the PC cradle and all is working perfect so it's not the MP3 unit itself. Any idea's?? Cause I'm stuck. Cheers, Matty. ------------------

Just been reading Autocar and the Z32 features as the best car under £5k. Rated as 27/30. They're getting cheap now. They mention problems with the synchro on manuals, not heard of that before, has anyone else. The Supra features as the best car under £15k.

Ran my car on the Rolling Road Yesterday, Got 235 BHP at the wheels at 9PSI so if we take account of approx 60 to 80 bhp transmission losses its about circa 300-315 bhp at the flywheel which I'm quite pleased about as this tallys up with my 14.1 for the quarter mile. Thats with my silly bleed valves open fully, I closed them to see what psi I got, it gave 5psi which was 200 bhp at the wheels, looks like I'm going to have to invest in a proper boost controller! Thank god I installed a proper boost gauge, as the stock boost gauge indicates 12psi when its really 9 psi! so loads more power to come. My mates modified Supra ran his on the rollers, the rolling road is rated a…

Just to let you know I have two 300ZX twin turbos for sale. One UK manual and one imported auto. I need to sell one of the two, and then keep the remaining one. Full details of the cars (with photos) are in the For Sale/Wanted section of the forum. They both have the "subject" shown as UK manual, but one is indeed the advert for the auto. Both cars are basically very good cars. I've been able to fix any faults they've had because (as you probably know) I sell second hand Z parts from a car I recently dismantled. Feel free to give me a call if you are interested or need any further details Thanks AndyZ (01634 221783)

When turning around with full lock right there is a judder from the left hand side front wheel. It feels like the wheel is loose and is sliding about on the studs. I have recently fitted the full polybush kit and new disks and that has not cured it. There is no play on the wheel when you jack the car up. Could this be something to do with the power steering Cheers Paul
