Ecotec Fuel Thingies ?

Does anybody know / own one of the Ecotec "things" which claim to increase fuel economy ? Are they a load of twaddle or not ?

 

Opinions, please.

    A few on our board have used them, twaddle methinks, did help one guy get through MOT though.

    If putting a little tub of lead shot or magnets or whatever gives you more power and econemy then im sure the car manufacturers who spend millions on reserch would have been fitting them long ago .
