NTL SUX!!!

After 34 button presses and a !hour and 2 minute wait i finally got through to the NTL customer services Where Technology is tammed!! Just need to have a moan, am on broadband and i keep losing my connection, at one stage i even dialed up using the preastoric dial up modem just to get on the net.

Broadband was good, but is going down hill rapidlly, i dont think they can cope with the amount of users, but still they sell the service, 512Ks, geez, bing bong bing bong hey first time on my dial up!!!!!!!!!!

My Aussie mate signed up with those losers as soon as he arrived here in Blightey! Errrrrr Errrrrrr!!! Big mistake mate, and he's in Stevenage aswell.

First box/connection never worked from day 1 then took about two months for them to come out and replace. That one didn't work either, why they don't plug the sodding box in and test before leaving is anyones guess???

So he tried to exit the contract, they played merry hell and he kicked up even more fuss! Eventually with a little legal threatening they backed off and allowed him to leave unharmed.

Useless fuckers springs to mind, never seem to be off Watchdog and the state of the company financially in terms of stability is absolute wank. Oh and by the way, they went under in Australia so my mate should have smelt an offish kipper straight away!

NTL you are the weakest gay.gif link...GOODBYE!!! biggrin.gif

NTL are a joke, switch to ADSL if it is in your area, price is down to £29.99 now and the service is 20times better.

I use telewest cable internet at home, only £25 a month, probably the best of the lot in my opinion,

NTL do listen, you just have to threaten them a lot.

Blueyonder/Telewest broadband!!! The best!!! £25 per month too. Cool!

I second that. Blueyonder. Was terrible in my area when we first got it, always going down, sites not loading, having to click about 20 times on a link before it did anything. A few weeks later it was back to normal, and I must say that is has been perfect ever since. I think it has gone down 3 times in about 6 months, and even then it was for no more than a hour or two.

They recon it is my modem which i hire from NTL. They send an engineer will be with me before 12 today, oh look its 12.15 and no engineer.

I wonder how long i will have to wait in until he turns up.

Might have to look into the other suppliers of broadband. glad im not the only person with the same views on NTL
