I got a quote foe a new exhaust, custom made..2.5" pipe from the front of the cat back no cat no boxes till the back then two 4" pipes, 1 either side of the car...Cost 430+vat...what do you thinks......If it sounds good can we get together and have a group buy should any1 need it...

Whats the tyre pressure supposed to be for a jap. BTW it has 215/55's fitted instead of 225/50 dont ask why. Thanx

Okay, takes me motor for a spin, no probs, stop for 10 mins and get back in, switch Ign on and i get the engine check light and sub fan on, switch off and switch on again, all okay, get 50 yrds down the road, engine check light and sub fan on, car now runs really ruff under load, fuel smells and splutters, limp home, get the papers for ecu diag, pull out ecu and switch ign on, no check light or sub fan and code 55, so thinks just a gliche, put ecu back, start car and check light is back with sub fan, do ecu diag but it won't, turn screw back and forth in the mammner your supposed too and all i get is a pernament red light, no flashes and problem still there, cannot get a …

Hi Recently bought car.History unknown. Mileage unknown.Exhaust clean,no oil or water use.Appears to be stock.Everything appears to work,apart from 0-60 is about 9.00 seconds.UK registered car.Will quite happily do 130+ maybe more.Manual box. Had a look at turbo`s,oil leak on top of drivers side one(very difficult to get to this one)Other one,visually ok. just wondering how many z owners live around east anglia and whether any meets happen around here?

Checked and cleaned AFM, CAS, Coolant Sensor and TPS. Bypassed the kock sensor with resistor.. Checked stock boost solenoids are still connected (doh!) and still only 7psi boost. Fuck it I have to put the EVC4 on.. lets see the ECU argue with that ! Bloody car Glen

I've just received the plugs and I think they're wrong. They are BCPR6ES- 11, NGK genuine nissan plugs, can anyone tell me if they are right or wrong oh by the way for my UKTT '92..... cheers

Have had to drive to work this week in a Mitsi Charisma while Mrs T has had the pleasure of having the T-tops off all week back home! Oil leak is hopefully now sorted and today me baby has to trek 266.1 miles(according to the AA route master) to County Durham for his makeover Richard & Judy stylee! Bummer! When yer Z has to go away coz it's broken down it's fair enough, but when you have to wave bye-bye when it's running OK(ish) I can tell you is gutting!!! Ohhhh well, he goes through the StarZ in Their Eyes doors as Joe Builder and hopefully in a few weeks or so will come out the other side as "Tonight Matthew I'm gonna be MAC2 Stillen Beast!" ROFL …

I've been reading some of the tech questions since joining the "club," and I get the impression that imported cars have some kind of speed limiter on them. Is this true? And if so, what do I do to get rid of this unwanted feature? Also, how easy is it to change the speedo to MPH? Finally, where in my area do I go for performance parts. I live in Slough, which, for those who don't know, is just on the western edge of London. I'm new to the 300ZX, and want to know where I can get real performance parts, not "go faster" stripes!!! If this is not giving a correct reading (ie corroded terminals) I would get safety boost correct? OK. If however it was knackered I would get error code 13 (which I dont) and bad warm-start / idle problems with erratic powering up of the electric fan? Ill get to the bottom of this frigging .5 bar boost bollocks if I have to pull every bloody sensor apart ! Well I have given the coolant sensor a damn good spray of contact cleaner and scrapage with a screwdriver so Ill see if I can get stock boost tomorrow. ------------------ Glen :)
