I picked up on this from threads like http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/ubbforum/Forum6/HTML/000391.html and the fact that the bloke who put the last set of tyres on saidc "something's wrong - you've got uneven wear" Leigh gave me a useful place (ProTyres in Slough) so I am off to get the full monty alignment check done. I have found settings for camber, caster, kingpin inclination, toe-in, tie-rod length & turning angle for front wheels (pages FA-9 and FA-10, plus FA-24 and FA-25. Also Rear Wheel runout, camber, toe-in (RA-6, RA-7, RA-34, RA-35) And lastly a bunch of stuff about HICAS on ST-97 and ST-98. Three questions: a) which are the im…

Here is a pic of the 05 Lambo. Notice it doesn't have the gullwing doors anymore. It's rumored to have around 800 bhp and be AWD. Pic shows that they just completed a 20000 km endurance run. The test drivers name is Dante haaapppaaaareeently! ------------------

Hi. Not being a compter wizard i have a problem. Have recentlty purchased a hp omnibook 500 second hand. But it has a password stopping me getting to the bios. Someone has told me to take the battery out of the motherboard for 10 secs and put it back. Will this wipe everything off the hard drive? Seems a bit drastic if it does. Ideas anyone. Cheers.

I've just bought a Fairlady Z 1991 model. Driving it from Glasgow to Slough (near Heathrow Airport) I was doing 140 Km/h (Jap import) when the box made a howling noise for about three or four seconds, and then seemed to be okay again. However, I looked at the rev counter and found I was doing about 5000 rpm at that speed (about 95 mph?). I didn't think this was right, so I stopped at Windermere services, and found, when I tried to park the car, that I had no reverse gear, and when shifting into reverse, there was a horrible noise from the box; forward gears seemed to work though. From then on, it was a long ride home in ana RAC recovery truck!!!! I won't go into details …

Driving to the office this morning on the M3, I looked over to my left and there was a woman in a brand new BMW doing 120 mph per hour with her face up next to her rear view mirror putting on her eyeliner! I looked away for a couple of seconds and when I looked back she was halfway over in my lane, still working on that makeup!!! It scared me so bad, I dropped my shaver, which knocked the donut out of my other hand. In all the confusion of trying to straighten out the car using my knees against the steering wheel, it knocked my cell phone away from my ear which fell into the coffee between my legs, splashed and burned Big Jim and the twins, ruined the da…

Woow...what crazy drivers First time in my life I watch something like this for real. I was standing on a big corner followed by a straight line and then a small corner. It was also downhill where suddenly I hear this engine rev badly and bang..the first car shows up. It was Gronholm-Rautiainen with Peugeot 206. He showed up on the corner and in a few seconds he was gone leaving a big cloud of dust. I couldnt believe it. You expect them to take out a gear or two to slow the car down but noo no. They change gears up to make it go faster. Fucking hell. Panizi, Burns, Makinen, Mcrae and everybody else. All the respect for their madness

Does the wiper link between the motor and the wiper arms include the plastic bits that pop onto the motor (I think that may be refered to as seals) or do they need to be bought seperately? When fitting do you need to grease the inside of the plastic bits, and if so with what type of grease. My wiper link popped off last night while driving past an HGV is the pissing rain. Lost all visibility when the wipers stopped. PANIC!!!!!!!!!!!
